Steven Miller, the former aide to President Donald Trump who helped push forward that administration’s racist and draconian policies looks like he stepped right out of the Nazi playbook. And while the Biden administration and House Republicans haggle over new immigration policy that doesn’t appear to be going anywhere anytime soon, Miller reached out on X to put in his -2 cents worth.

Because that’s all this racist, xenomorphic white nationalist is worth: -2 cents.

While the administration has worked hard to push Republicans to pass the border legislation that they demanded, to begin with, as Raw Story notes, House Speaker Mike Johnson has rejected it as “dead on arrival.” And they have made numerous moves to hammer this home.

This is likely the same game Republicans played during former President Barack Obama’s last year in office when they blasted his “I’ve got a pen, I’ve got a phone” remarks to remind Congress he could issue Executive Orders if needed. Now, however, Republicans are pressuring President Joe Biden to issue Executive Orders so that they don’t have to duke it out with Trump to pass legislation he’s not happy with.

Johnson pushed earlier today for Biden to do this.

“the president can take executive authority immediately and he’s pretending as though he does not know that. it’s outrageous,” johnson told reporters. “the american people are demanding action, we’re going to deliver it in every way we possibly can.”

It must be awfully fun to be a Republican — fight Biden on every issue, then kvetch the very second he doesn’t counteract your dumb moves immediately. Why fight against the very legislation you “demand?”

I’m beginning to see where the term “gridlock” comes from. Video of his remarks flooded right-wing social media Tuesday morning, posted by a Republican National Committee social media account, then a Trump campaign account, and via scads of other right-wing media outlets. Apparently, this was meant to attack Biden. However, the Biden White House also posted it, making it eminently clear that Biden needs this legislation.

Andrew Bates, White House Deputy Press Secretary and Senior Communications Adviser, posted the video and added a humorous touch Tuesday, which resulted in the aforementioned mockery of Miller, who’s as anti-immigrant as people get.

He’s a bacterium in jackboots.

Miller engineered Trump’s child and family separation policy, which placed thousands of migrant kids in cages. However, even as recent as fiscal year 2022, immigration officials encountered more than 152,000 unaccompanied minors. Obviously, this is a tragedy where solutions are needed, and Trump did nothing but worsen the situation with his racism (remember those “bad hombres,” and “rapists?”), his attempts at restricting Muslims from crossing, and his (fortunately) failed attempts at building that border wall?

This is what makes the Republicans’ bickering about this issue with President Biden so stupid. Bates understands this and he posted this whimsical tweet on X, noting that Johnson’s “objections to the bipartisan border security deal are, at once: 1, new legislation to secure the border is unnecessary (despite 6+ years of statements to the contrary) But also… 2, in order to secure the border, we need new legislation that goes further???”

He accentuated his post by adding a photo of a dog looking “confused” to highlight his point and accompanied that with a few “receipts.”

Sure Bates didn’t refer to Miller but the former Trump minion still felt compelled to respond by attacking him. “Andrew continues to boldly advertise the impressive depths of his ignorance,” Miller wrote. “Let me try this for you again, Andrew, only slower: 1. Biden ordered the border open. 2. Biden could rescind those orders at any time. 3. Or Congress could pass a law forcing Biden to rescind his orders.”

There’s one small problem here: An order can’t be rescinded if it didn’t exist in the first place. Because Biden never ordered the border open.

Bates found even more humor in Miller’s response.

“everyone’s thinking, ‘andrew, when you tweet about house republicans delaying border security, steven gets triggered & we have to hear nails on a chalkboard again.’ but hear me out: every time steven stops what he’s doing to tweet at me, he puts down the puppy he’s about to eat.”

I would compare Miller to a reptile but reptiles are hard-working creatures that actually serve a purpose on this planet. The only thing Miller is good at is spreading hate and we already have far too much of that.

    • Sadly, he was in fact more than a little relevant. Starting from the beginning. Jeff Sessions, then a Senator was the first Hill GOPer to endorse Trump but he didn’t stop with that. Seeing what a clustefuck the Trump campaign was he sent senior aide Miller over to create some semblance of order. Okay, so it was still a clusterfuck but Miller did unfuck enough that the campaign managed to tend to the pesky details of getting through the primaries.

Miller was also a top aide in the administration and as Megan noted key in the family separation policy. I’m convinced it was a plan to create a class of “non-persons” without any documentation that would be slaves. Quite literally. Miller was of course intimately involved in the various parts of the plan to keep Trump in power when it was apparent he was going to lose the election. He was plenty relevant.

I find it striking that if you were to put a set of horn-rimmed glasses on Miller a black & white photo side by side with one of Eichman at the Nuremburg tribulal would make your blood run cold. Just as bad, put him in a German officer’s uniform of the era with a hat and he’d also resemble Gen. Heydrich! IOW the two true architects of the death camps and the murder of all those millions. Kind of makes me wonder if there was some reality to the movie The Boys From Brazil and instead of cloning Hitler Mengele managed to find a way to combine the DNA of Heydrich and Eichman into a single strand and clone THAT. The result being Stephen Miller.

  1. Funny thing about Steven Miller acting like a Nazi is that since he’s Jewish Hitler would have had him in Auschwitz or some other lovely camp. He’s such garbage.

    • A Jewish capo in the camp assisting the nazis in the systematic murder of 11 million people, 6 million of which were jews.
