If there’s one thing Donald Trump loves to do, it’s kick his perceived enemies while they are down. He’s done that with so many people, including folks in his former administration, and now former RNC chief Ronna McDaniel is the subject of his mean-spirited mockery. Fresh from being drop-kicked by NBC News just days after the network offered her a political contributor position, Trump is busy adding insult to injury, Raw Story reports.

“wow! Ronna McDaniel got fired by fake news nbc,” Trump posted on TruthSocial. “She only lasted two days, and this after mcdaniel went out of her way to say what they wanted to hear.”

Then, perhaps without realizing it, Trump seemed to reference Peter Pan. I think it’s pretty doubtful he’s ever read J.M. Barrie’s novel because reading is not his strong suit. Lying, and mocking people, now those are two of his strong suits, but really, i’d be shocked if this man ever read a novel. But here, he did what he always does: sink to the bottom of the lowest common denominator.

“It leaves her in a very strange place, it’s called never neverland, and it’s not a place you want to be,” he continued.

Trump was really in rare form and he zeroed in on NBC in one of his as usual, fact-free rants.

“these radical left lunatics are crazy, and the top people at nbc are weak. they were broken and embarrassed by low ratings, highly overpaid, ‘talent.’ bring back free and fair press — make america great again 2024!”

Frankly, hiring McDaniel in the first place was a ham-fisted move to my way of thinking since she supported Trump’s rigged election malarkey. It was bound to upset higher-level staffers and viewers, so NBC took a step back and cut ties with her. People were simply furious that she was even hired in the first place after she’d been tossed out of her job as RNC chief earlier in March. And that must have been embarrassing when you consider the fact that she was replaced by Trump’s daughter-in-law Lara Trump and fellow Trump sycophant Michael Whatley.

NBC Universal News Group Chairman Cesar Conde offered up an apology in a memo to staffers for having okayed her hiring.

“no organization, particularly a newsroom can succeed unless it is cohesive and aligned. over the last few days, it has become clear that this appointment undermines that goal,” he stated.

However, he also said the network is still committed to centering “voices that represent different parts of the political spectrum.”

I’m just going to suggest here, that perhaps the network should studiously avoid those who are foolish enough to believe Trump’s election fraud delusion.

Just saying.

  1. Both sides does not mean lies versus truth.

A lie is not a viewpoint or an opinion, it is a lie

Truth is not a viewpoint or opinion, it is a fact.

How reassuring it is that there are enough people around that remember this.

  2. I think the big wigs at NBC lost sight of rule one in running a reputable news organization……”credibility”…….as a blatant liar and spreader of known false innuendo and conspiracy, Rona has none.

Her being part of an actual news organization, versus an entertainment organization trying to pass itself off as news, discredits proud members of that organization and sullies the reputation of them all.

    • NBC was driven by shareholder greed. Greed is shortsighted. Ronna lied for Humper 45, and was another one tossed under the MAGA bus. AND she ditched “Romney” in her name. Was it worth it, Ronna? 🤣

      • “Take one for the team”, she said in her MTP appearance. Iindeed, she took many “for the team” and put “the team” ahead of our country every damn time.

Has Mitt gotten her a DNA test to verify her really being related?

  3. McDaniel, like so many others, now knows that fealty to the orange buffoon only buys you a ticket to ridicule-ville the moment you’re no longer useful to him.
