This is good for comic relief and it’s also predictable. Now that Tucker Carlson has been toppled from his Fox News platform he’s becoming a right-wing martyr.

Gullibility is a wonderful thing and the key to right-wing riches is to be found in spouting a line that the easily duped will pick up on and infer that you are somebody with inside connections.

So while Carlson waits to either find a fourth cable channel to work for, since he’s been fired from MSNBC, CNN and now Fox News, his minions are about in the land preaching his word for him. Note: one voice that you will find conspicuously absent in the Carlson debate is that of Ron DeSantis. You haven’t heard one word from DeSantis on this controversy and you won’t. DeSantis is at the mercy of the Murdochs now. His political life depends upon it. But he’s not the only one with a voice so here’s a taste of what’s sprouting up out there.

Now parse through this one with me, this is good: Rupert Murdoch is now the enemy. He’s apparently in league with George Soros. And the new conspiracy theory is going to be that Tucker Carlson was going to stand up for righteousness for us all, but Murdoch wants to see the planet glow bright blue in the night sky, so he’s silencing Carlson.

This could be a starting point for bigger and better conspiracy theory. Remember, the CT pot is never full and it always needs stirring.

It’s speculated that Fox News is going to try to clean up its act a bit so that it can get more in cable fees. It’s getting something in the $2.00 range now and would like that to go to $3.00 and if, in fact, Fox is more mainstream than crazy, they might be able to sell themselves to cable providers at the higher fee. Who knows?

What is known is that with legal fees, more suits coming and the $787.5 million settlement to Dominion, Fox News would like to generate some cash, not just pay it out. So Fox News returning to some kind of less histrionic programming may in fact be coming. And if that’s the case, then indeed the termination of Carlson makes sense.
