Oh for the love of god, President Donald Trump’s “legal counsel “Rudy Giuliani said in an interview Tuesday that the White House is starting a campaign against special counsel Robert Mueller. If the prosecutor doesn’t heed their threats and cave into their demands, they might take “additional steps,” Bloomberg reported.
I used my lawyer hat a couple days ago and it’s in the wash, so I’ll let y’all figure out how often these types of demands work with prosecutors. Nonetheless, Rudy is off the leash, again, per Raw Story.
“We are going to try as best we can to put the message out there that it has been a year, there has been no evidence presented of collusion or obstruction, and it is about time for them to end the investigation,” Giuliani said. “We don’t want to signal our action if this doesn’t work — we are going to hope they listen to us — but obviously we have a Plan B and C.”
Is Rudy okay?
Rudy used to be head of the NY U.S. Attorney’s office – a prosecutor – and I wonder how often he released ev,idence to the “subject” (target) during the investigation.
It’s all bull shit,obviously, meant to rile-up the right. There is plenty of evidence of collusion and obstruction out there to anyone who reads anything but Breitbart, almost none of which has come from Mueller’s office, because that’s not what fking prosecutors do!
Anyone want to bet that the reason for the statement is to solely set-up justification for “Plan B and C”? Anyone? No, you know they have to justify firing Rosenstein and Mueller somehow, and acting like “a year” is just forever is more than the right needs, to be convinced. Regular drug investigations can often take over a year! The Clinton and Nixon investigations much longer than a year. This is what the FBI does. They wait like a snake, until the subject believes he is completely in the clear, and then they launch their strike with so much evidence the subject cannot breath. And, they’re very good at it.
So, they demand that Mueller’s “sit down with Trump, not to answer questions, but be lectured (Trump likely being the only president still able to perjure himself by going off script, and there damn well would be a script) or the White House is going on the “offensive” – as compared to what? – and will haul out Plan B and Plan C. We should note that most people form a Plan A first, and don’t name their first one “Plan B.”
Whatever else may happen, Trump will be the first president to refuse to sit down with his investigator. The refusal will be based upon guilt and propensity to lie constantly. He can do that, because he can shoot someone on 5th Avenue and his supporters will be there for him, ’cause that’s how they roll. It truly doesn’t matter that everything Trump does screams guilty!
