Donald Trump’s spokeswoman, Liz Harrington has an interesting connection with the truth — mainly because she rarely speaks any of it. She’s a good fit for Trump because both spew lies about the 2020 election and at one point, even gave the network a 10-day ultimatum to quit pointing out his election lies or he would sue. So of course we can believe her when she says Trump plans to follow the “real” Constitution if he’s re-elected, right?
Please note the sarcasm here is well-intended. Trump wouldn’t know the “real” Constitution if it whapped him upside the head. But that’s what Trump and Harrington want you to believe. They also want you to believe that the former president did a fantabulous job of securing the U.S.-Mexico border. I mean, he did such a bang-up job with that border wall, right? Trump’s done such a great job regarding the border situation that the Biden administration has arrested 3.5 times as many immigrants per month as the ex-president’s administration did (please note more sarcasm) according to right-wing think tank the Cato Institute.
According to the Institute, while Trump was in office, the Department of Homeland Security “encountered” (read: arrested) 1.4 million people during fiscal years 2019 and 2020 (24 months). Out of that number, only 47 percent were removed as of December 31, 2021. That number includes people who were arrested by Trump and removed by Biden, while 52 percent were released inside the U.S.
Under the Biden administration, it’s a different story. In the first 26.3 months, the DHS made more than 5 million arrests and removed nearly 2.6 million people — 51 percent and released only 49 percent into the U.S.
So neither Trump nor Biden has secured the border.
But as Raw Story reports, Harrington has other things to say about the border situation.
During an interview Wednesday on Real America’s Voice, Harrington claimed Trump did secure the border because he “took his oaths very seriously.”
“He made it his absolute goal to follow through on that oath to secure the border, and it was easy for him to do with, frankly, no help from congress, because he was determined to act for the American people and follow the law, the real constitution, and what we’re supposed to do,” Harrington said.
Boy, that statement’s a real looloo isn’t it? And she followed it up with another: “That’s why we had the most secure border in our history under President Trump.”
Oh, and she also asserted President Joe Biden is not following “real law.”
“I mean, you’ll have people on the left, you’ll have people that do not like the constitution, do not like real law, will try to, with semantics, and change the meanings of words, but it’s so obvious to anyone witnessing what’s been happening since day one of this corrupt government that they’ve allowed us to be invaded,” Harrington said.
It’s okay if you need a moment to pick your jaw back up off the floor. I’ve become so inured to the constant rain of mierda from Trump and his minions that I’m not shocked by this.
The one bit of good news out of all this: The U.S. Supreme Court recently gave the Biden administration the right to remove razor wire strung along the Texas border, courtesy of that monster/governor, Greg Abbott. Defiant as ever, Abbott is fighting this. Just because he’s in a wheelchair, this doesn’t mean he’s capable of empathy. And he definitely has no empathy for immigrants.

Maybe the “real Constitution” they refer to is the one Trump, after using his “very fine brain” to invent time machine to go back and present to the delegates at the convention 250 years ago. He of course convinced them to pass it in a secret vote and used his Star Trek transporter which he’d also invented to go around to the states and convince them to do the same. Where has it been? Why he gave it to Q for safekeeping, who will publish if when Trump decides the time is right to reveal all!
Aw shucks, Alito & Thomas know the “real” constitution, they wrote about it in their Dobbs decision. Hmm, lemme think…some Lord Hole or sumpin’ like that, in 1562 decided to burn a witch, which then logically concludes that precedent for historical background for our country’s history, so, girls, no abortions for you, states rights and all that. Simple straight logic, what’s so hard to understand? That real constitution – interpret it based on when it was written or before,, you know, so nithin’ ever gets changed. May I have my buggy whip now?

Trump was very successful in his border security – after all, he stopped Canadians from invading.
I wonder if the Canadians will consider a border wall to stop refugees from the US fleeing north when Don John follows up on his promise to be a dictator from day one

When Trump was elected in 2016 Canadian comedians had a free-for-all making jokes about us building a border wall to stop all you Yanks from coming up here and doing to our country what you-all did to yours! But don’t worry, I’m friends with Ursula, I’ll be sure to let you guys know when we Canucks finalize our plans for the massive US invasion to take over Dunkin Donuts once and for all. But don’t worry, only left-wings Canucks will be attacking. The right wingers prefer Tim Horton’s. Wait, hold on that invasion, we better get our act together first.
