Omarosa Manigault-Newman is the reverse image of Trump physically, being female and black, but characterologically she’s his twin. The only reality for her is whatever she does in front of a camera, where she can be seen. She cut quite a figure in the White House, where, just like Trump, she conducted herself as a one woman show, calling her own shots, oblivious to protocol. Axios:
Former chief of staff Reince Priebus made valiant efforts to keep Omarosa out of the Oval. And former press secretary Sean Spicer kept having to rebuff administrative officials who were lugging desks over to the West Wing to set up a personal workstation for Omarosa at her command.
How did she get away with this behavior?
It’s simple: Some of the most powerful men in government were terrified of her.

- “I’m scared shitless of her… She’s a physically intimidating presence,” a male former colleague of Omarosa’s told me. (He wouldn’t let me use a more precise description of his former White House role because he admitted he’s still scared of retribution from Omarosa. Other senior officials have admitted the same to me.)
- “I never said no to her,” the source added. “Anything she wanted, ‘Yes, brilliant.’ I’m afraid of her. I’m afraid of getting my ass kicked.”
Ostensibly, Omarosa recorded conversations in the White House because you “have to have your own back because otherwise you’ll look back and see 17 knives in your back,” so she taped a lot of conversations, ostensibly, including John Kelly in the Situation Room when he said he asked to talk with her. Politico:
“I think it’s important to understand that if we make this a friendly departure, we can all be, you know, you can look at your time here in the White House as a year of service to the nation. And then you can go on without any type of difficulty in the future relative to your reputation,” Kelly can be heard saying on the tape — a remark Manigault Newman says she took as a threat.
“He goes on to say that ‘Things can get ugly for you,’” she told Todd. “That’s downright criminal.”
White House aides say that Kelly was not threatening her reputation but trying to force Manigault Newman to resign rather than endure the spectacle of a messy firing — and that Manigault Newman refused, forcing Kelly to fire her and locking herself in her office after their tête-à-tête in the Situation Room. Her erratic behavior that day led Kelly to deactivate her White House badge, though she remained on the payroll through Jan. 20, the day the White House had initially announced she would resign.
On the tape, Manigault Newman can be heard asking whether Trump knows she is being dismissed. Kelly replied, “The staff and everybody on the staff works for me and not the president.”
We can blame Manigault-Newman for being clandestine and dishonest or we can blame Kelly for not being more cautious, but the real blame lies squarely on the shoulders of Donald Trump, a reality TV actor who brought another reality TV actor into the White House at the senior most level and the top salary. As Anthony Scaramucci used to misquote, “the fish smells from the head down,” so if one of Trump’s minions feels comfortable flouting protocol and ignoring policy, it’s only because of the ease with which Trump himself does so. Manigault-Newman, just like Trump, is a prima dona, used to getting her own way, and when she doesn’t get it, she behaves like a two year old — just like Trump. She’s got every good reason to throw a hissy fit now, because she’s promoting her tell-all book, and if nothing else, there should be some entertainment value in hearing the pot call the kettle black.
So what did Omarosa do besides expose the lies and hypocrisy of the racist trump Sh*House, Oops, WH, that makes you white people sooo eager to denigrate her and claim that she is evil and incompetent? What did she do? Put the national security of this country at risk by consorting with the russians? No, your fake white president did that. Attempt to destroy the National Security Agencies of this country? No, your low IQ-ignorant never-reads-anything white president did that. Did Omarosa go to the G7 and alienate America’s traditional allies and supporters in favor of a personal relationship with the other world class liar, vputin? No, your treasonous white president did that. I could go on and on, because in going after Omarosa’s credibility, your racist white devil-like behavior as it relates to African Americans is glaring and showing for all the world to see. Why don’t you condemn the lying cheating coniving faux predident for a lack of civility- He called a Black woman a dog/ What about that white people? That’s “presidential?”
