Bloomberg is reporting that the National Rifle Association has filed a Chapter 11 motion for bankruptcy. They spent $30 million to get Donald Trump in office. The NRA’s leadership has had its ties to Russia written about. Interesting that the NRA folds in the last days of the Trump regime, isn’t it?

The group reported assets and liabilities of $500 Million in each category.

The group intends to restructure and reincorporate in Texas, according to a statement on its website

This is yet another echo of a theme that we keep hearing, of armed militias in Texas.

This is all that is known at this time. This is a developing story and will be updated.

    • The fact that they’re regrouping in Texas and the fact that a former state senator from Texas said just the other day that there is a domestic terrorist group in Texas that has been ignored, is something we need to keep an eye on. I know I am.

  1. May all the murdered people haunt you like the legend that the victims of werewolves haunt & torment them. U are also the ones who armed these idiots with military weapons. Rot in Hell.

    • Their, “RIGHT TO BEAR ARMS”, has been distorted from anything the original words were written for, question … how many AR15 rifle owners actually know what that reason was and can repeat the Constitutional actual written words of ANY amendments?

What would the framers think about wording if they knew the power of military style weapons and the danger to citizens of any age, like elementary age school kids … we let these greedy people make their own way into infamy, ROTTING IN HELL, is always a possibility …

      • Mostly true. “Well regulated” has a broader meaning than simply “well supplied” but that leads to the key point about which you’re correct. The U.S. had NO standing army at the time, so the right of white male citizens to keep guns in their homes & serve the function the National Guard serves now had to be protected. Where these “Second Amendment” zealots get it most wrong is why. They love to say it protects their right to own guns to defend themselves against “government tyranny.” That’s exactly backwards. It was to protect the ability of these citizens to DEFEND the government: against Indian raids, slave uprisings or the possibility of the British invading again.

  2. I’m wondering what happens if the bankruptcy judge says “NOPE! Y’all need to settle your affairs properly in the state of New York before starting this same scam over in Texas.”
