Well, here we go. It was inevitable that there would be a minor problem somewhere, there always is in every election and always has been. The problem with Donald Trump’s Big Lie is that it relies on a fantasy premise that never existed, i.e., that all elections are done and callable by election night and that redundancy systems don’t kick in when problems occur. Almost never on the first premise, often on the second. That’s what a redundancy system is designed for.
If you look at the statutes of many states, a lot of votes don’t even begin to be counted until election day is over.
But that’s not the point. Trump has found a bone and dog that he is, he’s going to gnaw on it and wreck this election if he can. Here is Kari Lake ragging on her fantasy of what’s going on in Maricopa County.

The “Protest, Protest, Protest!” is a call to violence. That is a distinct possibility before all is said and done in this election. Trump is a cornered rat, he’ll do anything to stay relevant and have a voice.

Those 2 guys were Republicans? They sounded too logical. So Kari Lake and 45 are saying these guys are causing voter fraud in Maricopa County. I’m fucking tired of people’s integrity being called into question over voting. I.e.: Ruby Freeman and Shaye Moss. But this is typical 45 manipulation and Lake has hooked her wagon to the jackass.
As of 45minutes,ago,Hobbs has a tiny margin of less than 25% of a percentage point. There is about 4,000 votes separating them, which appears to be fairly consistent in most of the races. 25%of the votes remain to.be counted. Lake will.demand a recount. I suspect she will.do we even if Hobbs gets every last vote uncounted. She won’t concede. It will be days before the final.total.
The good thing is that the Secret of State is likely to be a,Dem,which means Republicans won’t be able to cheat in 2024, so even if Trump wins the primary, there won’t be any shenanigans,even if Biden has to pick up.his black thorn still roach and bust a few heads.

Well, there was a backup plan, procedures to implement in case of various problems – including this one. And those procedures were implemented right then and there on the spot! So there’s that. No fuckery involved. Here’s a question though…Why might have this been an issue in the first place? AZ had a long history of well run elections with proven counting equipment and procedures. Then 2020 came along. The ballots got counted. Trump bitched and whined and they got counted AGAIN and again he lost and by the same margin. But nooooooooo! Asshats like you who believe the shit in his fake gold toilet is better for your Thanksgiving meal instead of turkey got behind that whole debacle of the “audit.” Which came up with every batshit crazy theory one can imagine. And they even cracked into voting machines and accessed software, rendering them uselss moving forward. THAT meant ALL of that equipment had to be replaced you dipshit! It’s no small task getting all those machines ready for an election in the best of circumstances and this was not. BUT, as I said the pros out there knew their jobs, and implemented procedures that were developed long ago, albeit for different reasons. Say a sudden power outage. IOW people can mark their ballots, but the machines don’t run without power so a voter can eithre hang around (perhaps for hours) to feed it into the scanner, or just drop in in a secure box to be taken to the central facility for counting!
If you want to make excuses, at least try to make up something entertaningly bat-shit crazy.
