If this has ever happened before in U.S. history, somebody tell us when and who. The senate majority leader just did a searing take down of the bogus stolen election theories of a sitting *president* of the same party. It’s clear that the McConnell/Trump union has ended in divorce, and an acrimonious one at that.

The speech started a few minutes after the joint session of Congress adjourned to debate the merits of the State of Arizona’s electoral college votes being challenged — and while pro-Trump protesters were storming the steps of the Capitol.
And the speeches were going on while the buildings were being breeched. It made for exciting tv. Although this was real, not a show.

Keep in mind that the various states where vote counting didn’t/couldn’t start until after the election or the morning of the election was a preplanned scenario for laying out the story of the red mirage.
