I just love the MAGA mentality. They’re going to singlehandedly rewrite all of our laws and retool all of our institutions to suit themselves. Except they’re not and in Maricopa County today, the equivalent of crying uncle is being heard. The auditors have nothing, they always knew they had nothing and now they’re going into the last bluster of the process, demanding a new election.

How wondrous to have elected state officials demand procedures that don’t legally exist. Gives you faith in democracy, right?
And of course Twitter is ablaze with all the other frustrated auditors making either outrageous claims or basically saying nothing of substance, because there is nothing to say.
Here’s the Newsmax story. I say “story” out of habit. It’s not much of a story when you have zero facts.
The Arizona Senate’s audit of the 2020 election has resulted in a different ballot count than that given by Maricopa County officials, according to the chamber’s president.
Republican Senate President Karen Fann said during a Tuesday radio interview that the Maricopa County discrepancy prompted the state legislature to acquire new machines to recount the ballots.
Fann added she did not know the size of the ballot count difference.
“They haven’t released a number yet,” Fann told conservative radio host Mike Broomhead on KTAR. “However, we do know that those numbers do not match with Maricopa County at this point.”
This is the Mike Lindell School of Journalism. We’ve got no actual facts or figures, we can only tell you that there’s a yuge story here. And there’s always a delay in getting to it.
“We are finishing up — the vendor is finishing up what we call the aggregation: double-checking the spreadsheets against the blue tally sheets, against the scans they did on the ballots,” Fann told KTAR.
“Because before we turn those ballots back to Maricopa County, they want to make sure that every one of those check-and-balances match before they start doing the analysis of all the data they received.”
KTAR said the new tally was expected to start Tuesday. A State Senate spokesman told pool reporters Monday that the new machine count would go into next week.

What they told the public is different than what they said in answer to a legal subpoena. Maybe things in Maricopa County aren’t actually what they’ve presented to the American public. ?

Expect the lunacy to crescendo. This audit is like a pustulant boil, it’s going to break soon and it’s going to be an awful mess.
They did it to themselves. This has been one colossal waste of time, money, and human energy. Consider this the prelude to Lindell’s flop, which is coming next month. Interesting summer we’re having here.
I am not sure that interesting is he word that I would use…but then again remember the ancient curse “May you live in interesting times”! The Maricopa County Fraudit has been nothing but a huge Cluster F**k since it started. And it is all because he who shall not be named and his cult don’t want to accept what they know deep down to be true…THEY LOST!
The idiots don’t even realize that if they did hold another election right now, the GOPers would probably ALL be voted out after what’s gone down since November.
What a mess. How many other states are we going to have to watch go through this corrupt exercise to overturn the election? It’s unfortunate that the AZ repuQs were able to get a hold of the ballots in the first place. Then they have to gall to announce their fraudit vote count is different from the official one. Wasn’t that the point? Isn’t that why they’ve been mauling and mishandling the ballots all this time? To try to ‘find’ or ‘lose’ votes? No one in their right mind had any doubt as to the end game with this transparent ploy. I hope AZ voters take revenge against these asshats in the next election. It’s cost the citizenry dearly, in dollars, trust, and respect.
I’m hoping other states watched this circus unfold and saw just how bad it looked for the AZ G.Q.P. and are now saying “Nah, not worth the black eye”.
It was never an “audit”. The votes were counted *more than once*, with no changes, in November. The results were certified to the state. That’s the end result of every election.
The people screaming don’t know how it’s done, don’t want to know, and want the results changed to suit them. That’s not how elections work.
Of course there is a different ballot count. There was the counts from the original election and legitimate audits done by audit professionals, and the “audit*” done by the clowns from C.N.
Love that now, under court order, C.N. and the G.Q.P. pols have to turn over their records to a watch dog group demanding them-as is their legal right. Of course this is the cause of all the shrieking from AZ G.Q.P.’rs. G_d forbid they have to show just what a clown car full of rectums these C.N. yahoos were.
