On Jimmy Kimmel Live last night Cassidy Hutchinson revealed that Herr Gropinfuhrer insists on using only the smallest unopened ketchup bottles when ruining his burnt steaks because the “pop” the tiny bottle makes when his valet opens it assures him the pristine condiment has not been tampered with and he will not be poisoned.
I have to admit that the reason I chuckled at this is not that I got a mental picture of his tiny hands clutching his Heinz and adding to the fortune of Former Senator John Kerry, but rather I was amused at gaining the knowledge that along with his litany of other irrational fears – getting eaten by sharks, a random gust of wind, Putin’s disapproval and ramps – the Orangeutan has to contend with the anxiety that that one of the innumerable persons he has insulted, belittled, defrauded or stolen from might be scheming to slip him some arsenic.
“Former White House aide Cassidy Hutchinson says Donald Trump is terrified of being poisoned.
She shared the tidbit with Jimmy Kimmel on Wednesday after he asked her how often the former president threw ketchup at the wall, sending her into a fit of laughter.
“Donald Trump has a — I don’t know if you know this … I don’t know, maybe people know, but he does have a very potent fear of being poisoned,” she said.
“So he uses and prefers the small Heinz glass ketchup bottles because he likes to hear his valet or whoever is serving him his meal, he likes to hear the ‘pop.’”
Kimmel said he always assumed it was because “his hands were so little, it would seem like a real ketchup bottle.”
“Do you think he got this fear of being poisoned from all the ex-wives?” he asked.“Or is it Russia?” Hutchinson quipped back.
“No, I don’t think Russia’s poisoning him,” Kimmel cracked.“
I don’t know about that, Cassidy, with so many other Republicans contending furiously to be Putin’s favorite propagandist he might just decide drumpf is replaceable.

A lot of people in Jimmy’s thread were criticizing Hutchinson for her one time allegiance to the Orange one, but I’ve forgiven her for that, her father, particularly, is a drumpf captured cultist and parents can have an outsized influence on their children’s political preferences.
Thankfully her bird’s eye view of drump’s behavior on Jan. 6th, 2021 removed the scales from her eyes.
I wish her well and hope she continues to make good choices in the future.
Given how sh*tty former guy treats damn near everyone, I expect he treats his employees at marmalardo even worse. Being poisoned is not an unreasonable fear when you’re a class A a*shole.

Perhaps Nicole Wallace will reach out and take Hutchinson under her wing. Wallace, to her credit has spent years trying to atone for her work in the Bush 43 administration. It took a long, LONG time for me to trust her as a journalist but I at least know she’s trying to both be fair and make amends for once having had scales over her own eyes. Hutchinson having a Trumpkin father probably did provide outsized influence in her becoming not just a member of the cult but someone in the inner circle of the leader.
It looks to me like she’s still struggling and part of me still looks at her and wonders how she can still be a Republican. I’m old enough to remember a different GOP, one in which an Everett Dirksen (from my home state of Illinois) had read influence. But that GOP was already changing and it’s long gone. Before Hutchinson was ever born the GOP has been a toxic, often despicable entity. So again, someone who is intelligent (which she clearly is) you would think would if they can’t embrace the Democratic Party at least be a true political independent.
Well, maybe she’ll make enough from her book to pay off what have to be some pretty big lawyer bills. But she’ll still need a job, and that’s why I suggested Wallace might want to reach out to her. I’ll bet she could make a good assistant or researcher. And Hutchinson is probably plugged in with younger GOPers who’d like to see the GOP somehow get past Trump and Trumpism. Just a thought.
Because there’s NO other way to poison someone than through condiments.
That’s the same reason he eats so.much fast food; no one will know in advance and slip something into his two scoops of ice cream.
