Lin Wood may have a method in his madness and that is to cop an insanity defense. Of all of Donald Trump’s lawyers so far, Wood is arguably the most batshit. And today he proved it, once again. Raw Story:
Wood later insisted on Telegram that he had not retired to end the disciplinary proceedings.
Instead, he said he blamed his retirement on satanic symbols.
“Anyone who suggests that my voluntary retirement from the GA B.A.R. was out of fear of disbarment, does not know me or has not followed me very long on Telegram,” he wrote. “My retirement request to the GA B.A.R. was planned and timed in the manner and timing of my choice after much prayer and time spent reading the Holy Bible.
“Through the litigation process, I concluded that the GA B.A.R. was heavily infiltrated and led by Freemasons and other secret society members and its symbols were satanic,” Wood added. “I wanted out!!! Light cannot yoke with darkness. So I got out. On terms totally acceptable to me.”
NPR is reporting that Wood’s plea to the State Bar was granted and that as of Wednesday afternoon Wood’s bar status was reading “retired.” There is no rationale for this, at least at present. We can only speculate that the Bar decided why waste time and resources when he wants to retire and he’ll be out of the practice of law, which is what the Bar wanted.
Only the best people, right? Don’t worry, we’ll be checking up on John Eastman and Jeffrey Clark. They’re next. Eastman is already in a disbarment trial in California and Clark was complaining to Steve Bannon the other day that the D.C. bar is annoying him.

…….after receiving criticism for having the Battle Flag of the Army of Northern Virginia incorporated into their state flag, they pulled a slick one……they took the First National Confederate Flag in it’s entirety and simply placed the state seal in the middle of the circle of stars in the canton……and so far, it has worked perfectly.
Are there actual Satanic symbols in anything in the state government? I guess I’m asking if it’s possible that anything fruit loops Lin Wood is saying is actually grounded in reality. He is seriously around the bend. But even a broken clock is right twice a day.

Sock, the reason they “get away with” it is because THAT flag does NOT bear the same history as the Battle Flag does. The various states that raised the BATTLE flag back in the 1950s (or modified their state flags to incorporate the BATTLE flag, as Georgia and Mississippi did*) did so with a deliberate intent, just as the KKK did when that group adopted it. I’m old enough to remember when the Six Flags parks (especially in Texas and Georgia) displayed and sold the Battle Flag to represent the Confederate era (now, they use the Stars and Bars; you can’t really “erase” unpleasant history but you can ensure the more hateful and despicable elements are no longer on display).
*There are reports that the states didn’t add the Battle Flag to protest the Civil Rights movement and the Federal move towards ending segregation and the Jim Crow laws but rather to “recognize the anniversary of the Civil War.” Those reports can phrase it however they want but the Civil War was fought to maintain slavery (and you can damn well believe there was a whole lot of “keep the n—–s in their place” philosophy at work as well).

Hey did you notice how one of Jesus’ messages was just because YOU believe something, you know, like being on God’s side, what really matters is how you treated the downtrodden, the hungry, the sick, the poor, and the stranger? I wonder where all those poor brown children ended up when your idol ripped them away without any intention to keep families together? I would go back and study the text again. John 8:42-47…where Jesus calls the religious leaders ‘the children of the devil’ and that the devil is the father of ALL lies,(including YOURS), and that there is no truth in him. Your idol lies everytime his lips move lin. What’s he up to now? 40,000? Uh oh Lin. Hell has a room reserved with your name on it, if you can find it in supernatural darkness, full of demons with bad intent. Don’t believe in the devil? That’s too bad. He believes in you lin.
I’d love to see exactly WHAT “symbols” Wood is talking about.
But, as to the Masons being “satanic,” it’s worth remembering that Benjamin Franklin and George Washington were prominent Masons as were actor and St Jude founder, Danny Thomas and legendary singing cowboy Roy Rogers. Really hard to imagine any of them being “Satanists.”
Of course, the Bible (to the best of my recall) doesn’t mention “masons” or “freemasonry” but the Freemasons do pay homage to the Biblical King Solomon (rituals are believed to refer to Solomon and the various lodges are supposed to represent Solomon’s Temple).
Maybe Mr Wood might do a bit more reading, especially that section known as the Ten Commandments. Just to refresh himself on the “Thou shalt not lie” (also translated as “Thou shalt not bear false witness”) bit.
