It’s hard to know where the wildest show in town is these days, if the town is Washington, D.C. Liz Cheney was masterful in front of the House Select Committee on January 6 this morning and a few blocks away, Jamie Raskin was attempting to give a tutorial in law and subpoena power to Matt Gaetz. Gaetz, of course, is trying to defend the indefensible and asserts that Steve Bannon shouldn’t have to comply with a subpoena.

This is a long clip, over 9:00, but I recommend taking the time, if for no other reason than to hear factual argument juxtaposed with conspiracy theory. Hopefully this will be Matt Gaetz’ last term in office.

Just by the by, the fundraising PAC which Gaetz put together with Marjorie Taylor Greene isn’t making much money. Seems like nobody wants to turn out in droves to hear what they have to say, imagine that?

Help keep the site running, consider supporting.

  1. Lawyer versus shyster. Patriot versus traitor. Gaetz and Jordan will pray that their clips play well on Fox, but they don’t play well in the real world.

  2. Gaetz’s questions and arguments are so mindlessly stupid, ugh! It makes it seem that the money and time he spent going to law school was wasted. Either that, or he believes this is building his political brand. (wow)

  3. As Gaetz keeps saying, he thinks there was and is all this BS mess in his mind, that COULD be true, it’s all in his mind to be obtuse and going up against one of the sharpest lawyers active in congress … his smarmy blithering idiocy clouds the process of each committee, and we don’t even need to mention Gym Jordon, who, in his blue shirts and dirty gold ties, dancing around the committee rooms, always tearing down other’s statements and running the conversations away from the original paths …

They both need a permanent vacation from congress activities …
