Christopher Sign is an Alabama ABC News anchor who was found dead in his home on Saturday morning. Police are investigating the matter as a suicide. Right-wing nut jobs, including Lauren Boebert, are claiming that this is a hit job by Bill and Hillary Clinton. That quantum leap of logic is reached by the fact that Sign was the first to report Bill Clinton’s meeting on the tarmac with Loretta Lynch.

Just wait and see. Jimmy Carter will be passing on, sooner rather than later, and that will be blamed on the Clintons. When Joe Biden has to put down his older dog, that will be blamed on the Clintons, too.
Conspiracy theory is now mainstream and that’s the doing of Donald Trump. He let all the bats out of the belfry. Before Trump there was always lunacy on You Tube and Alex Jones was considered entertaining, in small doses. I saw a blurb about this death and my first thought (I swear) was that I ought to start a pool on the date/hour that someone in RWNJ news (which includes Fox) would trot out the “The Clinton’s murdered him” bullshit. Of course, I realized folks on our side of the equations aren’t sick, twisted assholes and wouldn’t contribute to such a pool so I abandoned the idea. But I’m pretty sure millions of us assumed it was only a matter of time before this shit would start making the rounds in conservative “news.”

Your expectations from the bowels of Fox and others, of course, were based on several years of steadfast support of Trump, his idiotic, “call-ins”, and of course, his, “special interviews”, babbling word salads and lie after lie …. the slimy rocks left over from the Trump era are still perps in their own special ways, and, like you, in my mind there is a limited window of time before there is another announcement of their stupidity, with visions of, “lock her up”, and those pizza joints trafficking’s central control channel …
Boebert hasn’t thought it through: if the Clintons were that powerful, why was the former guy even nominated?
To add to P J and KR’s comments, it is so incredibly baffling that the Clintons would have so much power and yet, somehow, their REAL enemies never really seem to “disappear” or fall victim to “foul play.”
If Hillary had even 1% of the “power” the far-right claims she has, we’d have 425 solid Democrats in the House and 96 in the Senate (not to mention 40 governors and be in charge of at least that many state legislatures as well).
Sometimes, this obsession the far-right has with the Clintons and the claims they make regarding the Clintons’ ability to disappear those who cross them is on a level with the far-right’s obsession with the “gay agenda” and how it’s going to destroy America.

The GOP was responsible for the deaths of hundreds of thousands of Americans last year by refusing to take tough action to help stop COVID (and criticizing mostly Democratic leaders who did take tough action). And you and your right-wing nutjob buddies don’t seem to care half as much about those people as you do some lone person who “ran afoul” of the Clintons FIVE YEARS AGO. (I suppose we should now set up a similar concept: That the death of any journalist who dared to criticize or contradict Trump over the past 5 years is the result of “crossing the Trump Crime Syndicate.”)
