“I Was Such A Schmuck!”

That’s what Trump himself said, regarding his endorsement in the 2018 Georgia election. Twice in his now infamous weekend phone call to the Georgia Secretary of State, Trump referred to himself as a schmuck. Somehow, I find it amazing that a man whose own father was arrested at a mass Nazi rally in New York, and who was caught on tape stating that the only thing that Jews were good for was in counting his money, would spend the last days of his presidency referring to himself with the favorite Jewish epithet for a moron. But, welcome to Trumptopia.

Yesterday, I put up an article in which I made specific reference to Trump’s reference to himself in his phone call as a schmuck. And I’ll be the first to admit it, I had the time of my life. I couldn’t call Trump a schmuck often enough. But this is a different article, and referencing a different context, so let’s move on.

But the most important thing that you have to remember at this moment is that because Trump is so self obsessed, he sees no limits to his power, including the power of pardon. And that includes the fact that the pardon power does not extend to state charges. If an aide or staffer were to try to educate Trump that a trump signed presidential pardon, even for himself, would not inoculate him from state charges, Trump’s mind could not conceive of the concept.

Enter Fulton County, Georgia District Attorney Fani Willis. She is a Democrat, and she was elected in the same November election that Trump lost. She has already acknowledged having received complaints asking her to look into whether or not county law was broken by Trump in his phone call. This is important because the Secretary of State was physically located in Fulton county when he took the phone call from Trump. And Willis has already said that she will investigate, and if any laws were violated, she will prosecute.

This is what Trump has never managed to realize, that his power is not absolute. In his maniacal quest for fortune and glory, who knows, not even counting the Manhattan District Attorney’s office, or the New York Attorney General’s office, how many other state of county attorney’s there are out there, just waiting to make their name by taking down a former President of the United States.

All I know is that Trump’s legal fees may soon become even heavier, and his guest reservations at various state and local penal institutions may grow longer. Gives me a case of the old warn-and-fuzzies. I only know of one word for such a man. Schmuck,Schmuck. Schmuck!

  1. I can’t help but think of Trump being convicted in GA and having to do time in prison there. From there it’s a short jump to the old days and chain gangs working along the side of the road. Can you imagine Trump suffering along in such a scenario? His constant whining? His slacking off, and what THAT would lead to? (Hint: If you ever saw the movie Full Metal Jacket think of the scene where all the other guys in the platoon whack the guy with a bar of soap wrapped in a towel – a version of what in the Corps we’d call a “blanket party” – not that “Code Red” crappy title used in A Few Good Men) Of course that chain gang stuff got reformed as it should have been, and Trump would never be put on one anyway but imagine the pleasure of being able to drive past as he toiled away and getting to personally hurl insults at him!

  2. Geez, let’s give America’s poster boy as the epitome of capitalist greed, hypocrisy, & shallow pursuit of Self, some credit. If i had walked on a gadzillion crimes laid down with proof, destroyed thousands of children with torture, lied 27,000 times, killed more americans than all the wars since korea, stood with the nazis & the clan, have committed treason as the president, etc….& yet, I’m not in jail, not even charged with a crime. I would believe i’m the king.

  3. Calling that moron a schmuck is a compliment! I was raised to think the devil was the most evil ever! All I can say now is Trump makes the devil look like a saint! I sure hope this madness ends soon!
