Another day, another headline truly worthy of The Onion. I would stop, not wanting to step on their toes, but alas, this is simple empirical fact that I’m reporting here, not some wild satirical riff. Hunter Biden’s lawyer has apparently made the decision that the best defense is to go on the offense and that’s exactly what he’s doing. The Hill:
Hunter Biden is suing Rudy Giuliani for “total annihilation” of his digital privacy and data, filing a civil suit over the former mayor’s involvement in disseminating information he purported to be from Biden’s laptop.
“Defendants are among those who have been primarily responsible for what has been described as the ‘total annihilation’ of Plaintiff’s digital privacy,” Biden’s attorneys wrote in the suit.
“For the past many months and even years, Defendants have dedicated an extraordinary amount of time and energy toward looking for, hacking into, tampering with, manipulating, copying, disseminating, and generally obsessing over data that they were given that was taken or stolen from Plaintiff’s devices or storage platforms, including what Defendants claim to have obtained from Plaintiff’s alleged ‘laptop’ computer,” they wrote, noting the data actually came from an external hard drive.
The suit, filed in California, alleged that Giulilani violated the Computer Fraud and Abuse Act, as well as a California law dealing with data access and fraud.
And here’s a spin. We all know the adage Everything Trump Touches Dies. Here’s the corollary to that. Remember EU ambassador Gordon Sondland’s comment about Giuliani? “Every time Rudy gets involved he goes and fucks everything up?” His former lawyer Robert Costello is learning the truth of that remark because he has been named in Hunter Biden’s lawsuit as well. Ouch. It’s bad enough Giuliani has stiffed him for $1.3 million now he’s got to sink time and money into defending himself. Double ouch.
“Plaintiff has demanded Defendants Giuliani and Costello cease their unlawful activities with respect to Plaintiff’s data and return any data in their possession belonging to Plaintiff, but they have refused to do so. Defendants’ statements suggest that their unlawful hacking activities are ongoing today and that, unless stopped, will continue into the future, thereby necessitating this action,” Bidens team wrote.
This is a developing story. Rudy’s getting incoming fire from all sides. And unless his podcast suddenly starts raking in cash, or he sells a lot of Mike Lindell’s slippers, or he gets a lot of Cameo orders, his situation just substantially worsened. Couldn’t happen to a more deserving meddling buffoon.

Generally, I’m opposed to that, but Giuliani is just so deserving.

I don’ think Mike Lindell & MyPillow are going to be much help to Rudy. I read a short blurb that Lindell is whining he and his company are ruined as American Express cut his line of credit from 1 million to a mere 100k. That smaller amount won’t cover even a month’s worth of operating expenses for Lindell’s actual company and with no ready cash flow he’s not going to be able to meet even a reduced payroll, obtain materials to make his products, pay shipping costs for orders etc. The countdown clock to the bankruptcy of MyPillow and Mike Lindell has started. Tick Tock motherf**ker.
Most of his materials come from outside the USA. So I would say he is getting just what he deserves.

no he did not drop it off. When he was working in Ukraine, the FSB got him plastered and copied his drive while he was out cold. According to a source in that part of the world, anyway.
