Hannity Witness Tampers: “Destroy Your Phones …Just Joking” No Joke.

Sean Hannity has never been confused as a public intellectual. He’s about as dull a blade as butter ever sought. He couldn’t pull off irony, or humor if Trump’s presidency depended upon it, and that’s just one of the reasons we know he wasn’t kidding, when he stated on his show:

“Maybe Mueller’s witnesses, I don’t know,” Hannity said on air. “If I advised them to follow Hillary Clinton’s lead, delete all your emails and then acid-wash your emails and hard drives on the phones, then take your phones and bash them with a hammer to little itsy bitsy pieces, use BleachBit, remove the sim cards and then take the pieces and hand them over to Robert Mueller, and say, Hillary Rodham Clinton, this is equal justice under the law.”

The Hill, being a source of respected Journalism, is forced to note that Hannity was being “sarcastic.” After all, later in the show – likely after a producer noted to Sean that he might have just committed felony witness tampering –  Sean said:

Mueller wants everyone’s cellphones. My advice to them, not really, kidding, bad advice, would be, follow Hillary’s lead. Delete them, acid wash them, bust them up, take out the SIM cards and say here Mr. Mueller, here,” Hannity said, “I’m following Hillary’s lead.”

Ha, what a kidder.

He’s not fking kidding, my loyal readers. He’s sending a message out, one on behalf of his boss, Vladimir Putin, given the lessons learned throughout the Mueller investigation generally, and the Manafort “oops,” specifically. Why the fk else would he be talking about what to do with evidence? And so specific, too!

Is he complaining that it wasn’t fair that Hillary got to destroy her computers before Trump got a chance to destroy his? Because if that’s what he’s saying, someone might want to tap him on the shoulder and note that Hillary was not the subject of a criminal investigation at the time she scrubbed her servers. In fact, the very act of destroying some of her emails became the basis for the investigation, which is rather the inverse of what Trump is dealing with. Someone might tap the other shoulder and ask why he’s bothered by the fact that Mueller is attempting to obtain evidence.

Hannity is apoplectic that someone has the balls to investigate Trump, this coming from a man who cheered on 5 years of Benghazi investigations.

The Fox host lambasted Mueller’s “pitbull” team for the tactic of demanding that witnesses turn over phones and all encrypted apps, along with the messages and emails within them.

Yeah, how dare Robert Mueller go about doing his job like a cop or something? How dare he go get the information needed to find out what really happened!

Sean Hannity was being “sarcastic” in suggesting witnesses destroy their phones in the same way he was being “sarcastic” in stating that Mueller is using pitbull tactics, meaning not at all.

Besides, “sarcasm,” like irony, requires some mental agility and a little elan, neither of which Sean ever knew enough to desire.

Disgusting. The Hill can’t report it. But, I’m op-ed, and I’ll propose it. Sean Hannity put out a clarion call for material witnesses to start destroying their phones, throwing SIM cards off bridges, last night. And for that, he should be arrested. Ha! I’m being sarcastic, Sean.

*** I’ve done it! Due to y’all, and the wonderful feedback we get here, I’m now on twitter, and it’d be an honor if you’d follow me @MiciakZoom.
