It’s no wonder the QAnon crackpots think Donald Trump actually won the 2020 election with this going on in Florida. Of the 67 counties, at least 10 list Trump/Pence as the winning ticket. Florida is the gateway to the alternate universe, no question in my mind. TC Palm:
GOP sites in counties as large as Miami-Dade and Hillsborough tout Trump as the president, based on a review of the sites in all 67 Florida counites. Most websites list no elected officials at all, but nearly half of those that do continue to include Trump.
Some local party officials claim that continuing to show Trump as president is an oversight, despite some of the sites have updated their list with newly elected down-ballot officials. Others, like Jay Kramer, chair of the Indian River County Republican Party, are unabashed in defending the action as very intentional.
“Trump hasn’t conceded, and it’s our opinion the election was stolen,” Kramer, the former mayor of Vero Beach, told the USA TODAY Network-Florida. “It’s important to make a statement and to make sure the statement stays relevant for the next 3½ years.”
These GOP websites in Florida are purveyors of fake news. They are poisoning the political groundwaters — not that this is anything you didn’t already know.
Someone send them back to school: concession is a social politeness, not a legal requirement.

Are these official county sites? Because, if so, they can be sued. I know of a lawyer who just might be interested in doing it too…
Anyone think that if Democratic sites had been headlining Hillary Clinton as President during Donald Trump’s occupation of the White House, that would’ve been the top news story on Fox “News” and other far-right-wing sites every day? Usually with leads like “Democrats won’t accept the election” or “Democrats live in their own reality.”
