In keeping with our theme for 2024 – coming together and helping each other – the Furkids wanted an upbeat song to illustrate how they help each other. Since there are lots of upbeat songs, I asked if they could narrow the list down a bit.  They said that, because it’s ‘portant we know we can always count on them, they wanted the happy song that splained that to us. Ah yes, I believe I know the very one.

A lovely young man with a jaunty hat and disarming smile gave us the money for the jukebox this week so it’s topped up and ready to go! Just click on play then scroll down to the lyrics and sing along!

The Furkids love the frothy milkshakes at They want you to know they love licking up their frothy moustaches! You can treat them to their favourite frothies for $3/€3/£3. All proceeds go towards the new computer fund (to replace the old desktop that died during a thunderstorm) and desk. Our heartfelt thanks to all contributors. 💝 💖 💝

  1. {{{Michelle}}} You and the Furkids did good. Tricia loved Bruno Mars and she’d love this diary. Probably does love it, watching us from over the Rainbow Bridge, cuz you *know* how she felt about “her peeps”. Skritches and Healing Energy and moar {{{HUGS}}}

    • I’m delighted to know Tricia is enjoying this too! If it hadn’t been for her developing an extraordinary pet community, the Furkids would never have found this voice through me. I am indebted to her, to you, to Marti and to everyone who nurtured my early efforts and supported me along the way. Then Ursula brought me aboard PolitiZoom and gave me free rein to further develop this labour of love. I owe many and I am forever grateful.

  2. Michelle your have outdone yourself again with Furkids…Thankyou for such beautiful upligting piece…..cheers Lois Mac Donald

    • It helps that I belong to an extraordinary creative group. I spread my wings wider because of the inspiration and support from you and Sarah and all our members. 💕💖💕

  3. cool to you, I live on 160 acres, I say I’m down to one cat in the garage, I like it his own personality
although I’m sure there are more in our Barnes.
you don’t pet my cat, likely bite you, but meows friendly when around me. I guess you’d say feral
    but he isn’t , just don’t touch me .
curious if other Farmers have pets non pets, they feed, and yes many raccoons and other animals hang around. Humans attract animals.

  4. cool, I’ve followed you for awhile
I have to relate this, no shit
I had a cat that lived on our roof
we’re farm people so no big deal lol
    but like 3 months
then he was gone, I miss him
it’s funny, darn I got a cat on my roof what to do
then you miss him when he’s gone

    • Did it get too cold? Or maybe whatever food he was chasing up there ran out? He or she will be somewhere else on the farm. I hope you see this cat somewhere soon.
