This is the definition of politics in the modern GOP, at least the modern MAGA GOP.
As I wrote in a Substack article (HERE, free), after having a go at democracy – vote by a majority and accepting the result, two votes, one to see McCarthy having 90% of the votes, and one to give McCarthy 100%, a small entitled group continued to assert their right over that what benefits the majority. Autocracy, rule by minority, is not a new mindset for the GOP.
But now things will go straight into MAGA-Republican wheelhouse. They get to go back to politics as a television drama. They now have an opportunity to “Investigate, Terminate, Retaliate.” And what better way than to start it off with “badass” self-promotion by the leader in self-promotion in a sea of self-promoters? Marjorie Taylor-Greene put together a video entitled “The 11th Hour” featuring her phone call to Donald Trump as Kevin McCarthy was lifted over the top. This must have been gratifying to Marj and Trump. As has been noted here, Trump has McCarthy’s balls in a jar stored in a shed by the pool at Mar-a-Lago, and may also have Marjorie’s, too. She made a movie and put it on Twitter, where it went viral, getting tens of thousands of views, one of the people who viewed the tweet was Dr. Dre, who immediately went shitstorm insane because she used one of his songs without permission, never mind payment (Another Republican specialty). From Mediaite and then a boot-legged copy of the video:

It is not like Marjorie didn’t have time to contact Dre, either. She magically had a film crew readily available at just the right time. Clearly, this was planned, and given that she had no idea when it would happen, it had been planned for a while.
Twitter pulled the video due to a copyright violation. But your humble servant (Venmo, @Jason-Miciak, kidding, subscribe for free to Substack) found a boot-legged copy still on Twitter, so you get to see it in all its hideousness. It’s also sent along with a MAGA message that oozes pure hatred, the motivating lifeblood of MAGA:

Let’s hope their complete and utter incompetence, stupidity, and lack of any ability whatsoever to do their jobs gets them what should have been given to them in the mid-terms: pink slips.
