Trump world is simply hopping right now with legal activity. Ummm, hmmm. Mercy. I don’t know when I’ve seen a bunch of people, so crooked and so deserving of justice, have it all come falling down on their heads all at once. Steve Bannon thought that he could make nice nice by agreeing to testify to the J6 Committee at the last minute. That might shave 30 days off his sentence, but that’s about it. He’s still holding the bag.

Then there’s Donald Trump. The thermostat in the kitchen got dialed up a few notches just this morning. He has to cancel his soiree in North Carolina. Instead of a MAGA love fest, he’s been summoned, along with his spawn, to Letitia James’ offices to give deposition testimony in his case with the State of New York. They’re finally getting around to pinning him down on his two sets of books, one to impress investors, one to dupe the IRS.

And now we have none other than Fox News and they are seeing a day of reckoning dawn in Dominion v. Fox News. ABC News:

Former Attorney General William Barr has been subpoenaed as part of an ongoing 2020 election defamation lawsuit against Fox News brought by voting machine company Dominion Voting Systems, according to the court docket in the case.

Dominion filed to subpoena Donald Trump’s former AG last week, according to the docket — the latest sign that the company’s lawsuits against those who pushed false claims of election fraud may be gathering steam.

As part of the Fox News suit, Dominion recently issued an additional string of subpoenas to officials including Georgia Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger, who Trump famously called after the 2020 election asking to help him “find” the exact number of votes he needed to win the state of Georgia. […]

At the first public hearing of the House committee investigating the Jan. 6 attack on the Capitol, Barr said in a clip played by the committee that the baseless allegations that Dominion machines switched votes from Joe Biden to Trump were “complete nonsense” and “amongst the most disturbing.”

“I told them it was crazy stuff and they were wasting their time on it, and they were doing a great disservice to the country,” Barr said of the Dominion conspiracy theories, which were consistently pushed by Trump and his allies. “I saw absolutely zero basis for the allegations, but they were made in such a sensational way that they obviously were influencing a lot of people.”

I’m glad Barr is being called to testify but the two fish I want to see on the hook are Sidney Powell and Rudy Giuliani. That’s when the show begins for me. Powell tried to recant her nonsense later on by saying that “no reasonable person” would have believed her theories were “truly statements of fact.” Maybe no “reasonable person” would believe the outlandish Kraken nonsense but millions of MAGAs did and do.

As for Giuliani, he just sees Dominion as being a part of the cosmic plot against him. Dominion sued Rudy last January and he called it “another act of intimidation by the hate-filled left-wing to wipe out and censor the exercise of free speech, as well as the ability of lawyers to defend their clients vigorously.”

Maybe Rudy can get Jesus to come defend him, ya spose? Jesus could appear on Rudy’s behalf pro hoc vice. Does Jesus have a license to practice law anywhere? Anybody know? He could petition the court to make a special appearance to plead Rudy’s case. I think Rudy needs a psychiatrist to plead his case but that’s neither here nor there.

I think I’ll contact Rudy myself and suggest it. Maybe Mike Lindell will deliver the message for me. Rudy works for Mike, as you know. Durrati can give the message to Mike when he meets Mike in Springfield, Missouri next month at the Great Revelation Festival or whatever Lindell is calling the convocation of election deniers he’s assembling. You see what a small world this is?

Speaking of Lindell, Dominion still has a case going against him.

It’s going to be a long, hot summer.
