As said in the title, if you are one who is sensitive to what is often called NSFW content (no pictures, just language/subject matter), you might want to skip over this one, even though Minhaj’s analogy is just so spot on that it does sort of shine Tucker Carlson in a new light.
Minhaj guest hosted The Daily Show last night, and he sure left his mark. He attacked (to put it with extreme understatement) Tucker Carlson for mocking the Trump team’s election excuses behind the scene but then argued that they needed to support the lies or they will lose the audience to other networks who will repeat the lies. Minhaj noted that the theory is always that Fox manipulates its viewers when in fact, it’s the other way around. The viewers influence Fox or at least Tucker. Minhaj just put it a bit more colorfully:

“He’s saying, ‘If I don’t say this bullshit, my viewers will leave me. This whole time we thought Fox News was manipulating its viewers. But it turns out the viewers were manipulating Fox News.”
And here it comes; close your ears or something. But it’s pretty accurate and funny in a sick way:
“Just think of it like this: Tucker Carlson is a moral vacuum. A hole, if you will, who glorifies election deniers. So, a glory hole. And his viewers expect him to please them with his mouth, and he’s constantly terrified that they’ll find a new, more satisfying glory hole. And that is why Tucker Carlson will never stop sucking.”
