I#m not sure of the sequence of events surrounding the laptop story. but, at a guess, any evidence trail is irrevocably compromised:
1: a semi-blind ‘repairman’ takes a laptop for repair – the signature on the recipt doesn’t match any of Hunter’s
2: The laptop was lying ‘unclaimed’ when the aforementioned ‘repairman’ decided to look at what was on the hard drive. Did he contact the cops? Nope he called Giuliani
3: Giuliani claimed he had the laptop – but never produced it or showed it to anyone
4: It is alleged to have ended up with the FBI (or maybe a ‘cloned copy’ of the hard drive which begs the question: where is the rest of itand how many copies were taken of the drive?)
5: Itb keeps coming up as a red herring (along with Hilary’s e-mails) but no-one anywhere seeps to have actually seen it, the cloned drives or even a print out of what is supposed to be there

The laptop contents were not “buried”, they were determined to be eligible for the “back burner”, since their provenance was dubious at best.
