This just broke in the last five munities on MSNBC Lawrence O’Donnell just reported that in a late-night decision, a Florida federal judge just sanctioned Traitor Tot and his lawyers.
The judge ordered them to pay more than $1 million in civil fines for, are you ready for this? Filing a frivolous lawsuit. The judge was referring to a lawsuit filed last year in his court by El Pendejo Presidente against, of all people, Hillary Clinton. The judge found the case baseless, and untethered in legal principle, fined Trump for bringing it forward, and fined his lawyers for being stupid enough to file it on his behalf.
Money talks, and bullshit walks. This is the kind of judicial decision that Hair Twitler will pay attention to, simply because it’s going to hit him in his wallet. In the post 2000 election Lawsuit-a-palooza that Trump unleashed on the American judicial system, there have been several state and federal judges that have sanctioned Trump lawyers for filing frivolous lawsuits, some with fines, and some with referrals to their state Bars for sanctions, but this is the first time that a judge has sanctioned Trump directly.
FrankenTrump is world renowned for filing frivolous lawsuits to either muddy the waters, or to delay eventual consequences he doesn’t want to face. But this single, brave judge may have just lit a fire under The Trumpster Fire that if he’s going to file wasteful, frivolous lawsuits to try to delay the inevitable, he can start counting on judges hitting him in his best friend, his wallet.
This may actually come into play in Trump’s upcoming criminal troubles. If he gets indicted, his first impulse is going to be to file a lawsuit on some bullshit excuse to delay the process. But if Trump’s lawyers know that they risk losing some of the money that Trump likely isn’t paying them to settle a frivolous lawsuit fine, how likely are they to follow through on it? It’s time over due, he is without a doubt the only American who has committed fraud, sexual assault and insurrection and has yet to see the inside of a court room, what is everyone afraid of when it comes to this guy. Does he have some weird alien powers that’s preventing the legal community from doing what’s right.
