Old habits die hard for Trump’s ex-Attorney General Bill Barr I suppose.

Barr has been trolling the ‘ole Conservative reputation rehabilitation carny circuit with mild criticisms of the Orangeutan for a few months, beginning with his yucking it up with the J6 committee’s investigators about drumpf’s hallucinatory visions of a stolen 2020 election then D’Felon D’Douchenozzle’s fiction take on the same 2000 Mules and ending recently with his quiet admission that absconding from the White House with thousands of highly sensitive government documents might just be a tad illegal.

But now that New York Attorney General Tish James has filed a $250,000,000 fraud suit against his former crime-boss, while concurrently alleging the old fraudster barely has two nickels to rub together, I guess Barr felt either the tug of his all so obvious compassionate Christian heartstrings… or of drumpf’s temporarily slackened leash.

Below he comes out swinging for the fences, saying James doesn’t have the goods, we all have TDS and Tish is making a mistake going after “the children.”

Yeah, the children, the youngest of which is 38 years old and who were designated officers of the Trump Organization when the shitbag was inaugurated.

Nice try, Bill:

Those are some fugly kids.

But…but… they had to have booster seats at the CEO desks!

Aren’t we all.

  1. Billious is used to kissing ass. Addicted to it in fact. Addictions are hard to overcome and some are impossible to leave behind. This might be one of them.

Watching people who had positions of authority, positions that used to be positions that commanded respect, sink so low is disgusting. sad.

  2. I suppose this was entirely predictable. However, it’s nothing new for the GOP. Some of who are older remember a certain well-known Representative from my home state of Illinois by the name of Henry Hyde (from the Chicago area naturally!). He was one of those “Moral Majority” types, one of the then politically ascendant “Christian” Conservative movements stars. If the infamous Hyde Amendment, the one that banned the use of any federal money for abortion rings a bell, this is the guy. It’s champion. And he held forth and was held up for a long, long time as the very model of “Christian” morality and probity. Mr. Squeaky Clean and above reproach. I’m sure you know what I’m going to say next. Like so many other “Christian” conservative icons he didn’t practice what he preached. He had himself a nice long affair at one point. He didn’t even really grovel. He dismissed it as a “youthful indiscretion” and sure enough the GOP hypocrisy machine that worked damn well even decades ago rallied round him promoting the “youthful indiscretion” bullhist.

He was in his early FORTIES when he had that affair!

So again I say this is nothing new for the GOP. It goes back longer than some here have been alive! As one of those tweets noted a black kid is an “adult” when they are fifteen (or even younger) but a Republican is a “child” their entire life when their screwups, unethical behavior and even crimes get found out!

    • His district pretty much surrounded the area where I spent part of my youth. I’ve seen congressional districts drawn in weirder ways but not many. Yeah, con x-tian therefore hypocrite. He was elected way after I moved from the area but it’s still pretty embarrassing.
