“A Man Who Is His Own Lawyer, Has A Fool For A Client”

Ya see, this is the real problem with being an obsessional, transactional narcissist. Your every decision is based solely on short term gain, with absolutely no consideration of long term goals or consequences.

Let’s be honest, Donald Trump fornicated the canine. For a brief, shining moment in time, Trump had the ability to absolve himself of all federal sins, and then to dare the new Attorney General to go ahead and charge him, and blow two years fighting the pardon out in the courts. And he blew it. And worse yet, he blew the chance to absolve all of his monkey spawn from federal sins, with no chance of it being overturned. And again, he blew it.

People took it satirically today, when I chastised Ursula Faw to give Trump a chance. Trump swore from the podium at Joint Base Andrews today that he would return in some form, and I take him at his word. He will return to Washington DC as a criminal defendant in federal court. And he may bring some of his offspring with him. But I wasn’t joking, I was deadly serious.

Trump made the decision to not pardon himself on the basis that in the shor term, it might make him appear more guilty to GOP Senators, and increase his chances of being convicted. But who gives a fuck?!? Trump is never going to run for federal office again, his calendar is going to be jam packed with court appearances. Why Trump chose not to pardon his idiot progeny will remain known only to him and God. And it really doesn’t matter.

See, here’s the rub. If all goes well with the new Justice Department, Trump may not even have time to finish unpacking, and get a quick 36 holes in before he’s being hauled back to the District of Columbia. And that’s because incoming Attorney General Merrick Garland has a gift wrapped indictment for Trump jus sitting on his desk, waiting for a grand jury signature.

Keep up now. A couple of years ago, former Trump fixer Michael Cohen pled guilty in federal court to multiple fraud charges. And in those charges, he admitted that he had committed those crimes for the benefit of, and at the direction of Individual One. And in congressional testimony, he directly named Donald John Trump as Individual One.

Trump feloniously funneled money through Cohen, in violation of federal election laws, to ensure their silence in the days leading up to the 2016 election. And as a result, Trump violated both federal corporate tax law, as well as New York state tax law, by misrepresenting the payments as legal fees, when they were in fact hush money payments.

This already all public record, through the federal courts. But here’s where the wicket gets sticky. Cohen kept the receipts. Not only did Cohen provide congress with canceled checks with Trump’s signature on them, he also turned over at least one check with Donald Trump Jr’s signature on it. Which makes Donnie redux a co conspirator in the plot.

This is all already just sitting there, a gift wrapped birthday present for whichever lucky federal prosecutor has this dumped in his lap. Or his short term desire to not be the first US President to be removed from office by the Senate, after he had already left office! Trump placed not only himself, but also his idiot son in mortal peril. It couldn’t happen to a nicer crime family.

  1. I’m with you Mr Murphy. I too believe that the rest of Trumpler’s life will be spent in various courts, trying to avoid various prisons, while being “defended” by the likes of Loony Ghouliani, Sid Bowel and Limp Wood. So thank you for the wonderful news that Don Jr will be there too, learning how to invoke the 5th Amendment now that Daddy neglected to grant the relevant pardons. This will be the ultimate reality TV show.

    • Forgot about the National Enquirer. Doesn’t Pecker now also probably be called to flesh out the story? Wondering minds are wondering.

      • I don’t remember the name of the woman involved in the sordid Broidy matter, but there isn’t any reason that she couldn’t be compelled to testify.

  2. Correct me if i’m wrong, but if trump pardoned his family, wouldn’t they be compelled to answer any and all questions put to them by prosecutors as they would’ve lost their 5th amendment rights. Maybe that’s what scared him!!

  3. Oh God What A uplifting bedtime story… I,ll Remember to read it to the grand kids…. Semper Fi. Hang The Mother F–ker <please Matt F.

  4. If Trump had pardoned himself he would had automatically incriminated himself. The pardon would then have been challenged in court and would have been overturned, because it is a legal oxymoron. No one has ever tried this before because it’s so oxy-moronic, from a legal point of view. So you are right that a man who is his own lawyer has a fool for a client. And as a lawyer would have told him, among other things, one of the bedrock principles of common law is that NO ONE CAN BE A JUDGE IN HIS OWN CAUSE. The reason Trump did not pardon himself or his family is that this is one of the rare instances when he seriously listened to legal counsel — people he didn’t even like.

  5. He’s also in trouble in NYS for his tax payments, or lack thereof, and also how he valued his property for tax purposes as compared to other purposes.
