This is the stuff of comedy. It is well worth watching because it shows you how one section of the country is absolutely obsessed by stolen lie paranoia. Fine. We have only seen that work to democracy’s benefit, so far.
The Republicans have been counseled by Donald Trump, over and over again, don’t do mail-in ballots. That order was countermanded Tuesday night on Fox News by none other than Kellyanne Conway, who now believes that “banking ballots” is the way for the GOP to go. And she’s right. Early voting and mail-in ballots grease the wheels of voting efficiency.
But Trump and Kari Lake evidently believe they’ve got some winning formula here. Watch these three clips.

To this day, after hearing all the thousands of lies that this man has told and which have been duly recorded and marked with four Pinnochios, I still marvel at his ability to tell an untruth. I guess this is it. This is the 2024 GOP platform, or at least it’s the one Trump is taking into the primary. In the weeks since Trump has announced his candidacy, all eyes have waited to see what his comeback looked like. You’re looking at it.

Can you believe this level of nonsense? God doesn’t work this way. God doesn’t void elections. The prayer would be better directed towards putting together a future election with good candidates. Then if that prayer was followed up by action, then you could see some change. This is just silliness on steroids.

The only thing that I can conclude about Kari Lake is that she’s in love with the limelight, like Trump, and she’s insulated from reality, like Trump. They’re both talking heads. They got where they got by being good at television. That’s all they can do and evidently they think it’s enough — despite all evidence to the contrary.
You know what they say. The school of hard knocks is a dear one, but fools will learn in no other.
Every time I see Kari Lake (is that her real name?) I think of a rogue female Terminator. Her face never changes and I’ve never seen her smile. Just think of the future wrinkles.
