Nothing like throwing gasoline on a fire, I always say. Brightens things up. We know that Donald Trump is good at that, he always has been, but the timing on this could not be worse.

Trump is pretty obviously at the end of his tether and out of ideas. And desperate people do stupid things.

Re-truthing this post from a January 6 conspiracy theorist is not helping Trump’s cause. Maybe he can’t get that, for some reason, but this is nothing but incendiary, particularly the day after both Kevin McCarthy and Mitch McConnell were snubbed by the families of the Capitol police who died or were injured in combat that day.

As well you know, because you were there and watching the riot in horror, along with the rest of the world, Nancy Pelosi had nothing to do with this. Trump blames Pelosi and always has for things over which she has no control. His followers are so stupid that they believe anything he says and don’t bother to look up the facts.

The Speaker of the House is not in charge of the Capitol Police. S/he is not in charge of the National Guard. The only one who could have called out the National Guard was Trump — and he didn’t.

And he compounded this error by not telling the rioters to immediately leave. Oh no, he sent them down the street to the Capitol and then got miffed at the Secret Service when they didn’t take him to the Capitol, assuming there is truth to the story that he tried to grab the steering wheel.

So now, Trump is spinning January 6 as a false flag operation. Unbelievable. But not out of character in the slightest.

Let’s see what’s next.

  1. This flittering around with absurd statements, IS the RED FLAG waving in the faces of the old -guard of GOP better days …

The GOP had better NOT throw out the Jan 06, committee, as that would flood the Congress with immediate chaos and charges that could cause some early retirements … That fist full of dung called the Republican Party has done so much damage to our Constitution and been SO CLOSE to everything Trump through the last years, that I believe the DOJ which is now raising that huge hammer over the GOP stars, to be linked directly to the Capitol chaos, along with the total fail of Trump’s, magnificent business, making him a dangerous trapped animal, ready to pounce on his former supporters with vile inside info, like what DID that sorry group from the GOP do and say to Putin while we were celebrating our fourth of July here and they were in meetings with Putin in Russia? …

All-in-all, the conditions for the House to commence in January, 2023, will resemble a certain normalcy, but if everything crashes around Trump as it is already started, I look for a rush to close all the gaps before Christmas, the Committee better pull the plug on everyone AND Trump as well, once Court has started resolutions for Trump’s long term board and room, the Republicans will have a rough time stalling things …

    • Unless I’ve been misreading some articles, if the J6 Committee isn’t finished with trump by January 2023, they can I believe kick it up to the Senate and let them continue with the investigation. Alternatively they can just hand the whole caboodle to the feds and let them take it from there. They have plenty to hand to the feds now-anything more would just be a little bit of icing.

    • I don’t know-being in prison without access to any kind of social media account nor a cell phone to be jabbing into-that’d be worse than death to this pile of mango colored pig shit. Death is sudden and over. Prison? Not so much.

Besides, we don’t execute for treason anymore let alone insurrections, sedition, etc.

    • He would suffer more in jail. No way could he land in General.Population. He would end up.in solitary. Cannot decide whether no tv or having one where he would end up.disowned by the GOP and not hearing his name Henry as he falls into the dumpster of history, only mentioned as a criminal in history books.

  2. What’s the difference between the National Guard and trained, uniformed, sworn, law enforcement professionals (DC Metro and Capitol Police)?
One (1) cop with his hand up ordering the mob to “Stop” should have been sufficient.

    • Capitol.Police are closer to mall security than a trained police force. They were never designed to.handle a crowd intent on murder and destruction because we never faced that before. I was in college during the riots after MLK’s murder and during the Vietnam era protests which were largely peaceful because we had marshals keeping people moving and in line and safe and non-violent.

Time to started retraining the CP for active mass riots, adding D.C. police to the mix and having them and the Guard on standby any time there is a mass match. Funny how the Women’s Marches, and the MLK era and even most BLM protests were largely peaceful.and non-destructive despite the police provocation.
