Social media in general is a mish mash of all spectrums of thought and expressive ability. Twitter contains everything from the best legal and journalistic analysis to a profane cesspool of gibberish. Then you get to right-wing social media, which is an excursion into complete unreality.

There are a couple of reasons that this is worthy of note. First of all, if the “terrorist organization” which has purportedly threatened Trump’s life is somehow linked to Democrats, who knows what group of people might be targeted by Trump’s cult, in order to protect their leader? You saw people breaking into the Capitol and doing violence, because they thought that Trump’s victory had been stolen from him and they were going to fight to get it back. It’s a stone’s throw from there to do violence to protect Trump’s physical being.
The cult may be looking for a reason to escalate its violence. This isn’t the only indication of that. In a piece earlier today I wrote about Luis Miguel, who is opposing Marco Rubio in a GOP primary. He falsely claimed that innocent patriots were being imprisoned and tortured, as a result of 1/6.
The net effect of all this misinformation and lunacy is that we could have another violent uprising somewhere, or perhaps in numerous locations at once. This has been alluded to before, and it would be a surprise indeed if the FBI wasn’t surveilling potential situations like this.
Another possibility, and maybe this is the Occam’s Razor explanation, is that this is just the expression of one loon, and it doesn’t mean anything.
In all events, it’s worth keeping an eye on.
Seems like a bad time to be taking down the fencing around the Capitol, especially since they still will hold off on allowing visitors back in the building.
Have they not noticed that the former guy is 70-something years old and not in good health? Everyone dies, at some time, and age is not a sign of goodness.
The threat I’d make on Trump’s life stems from proposing we analyze and investigate his misdeeds, then have an impartial jury decide how long he should sit in prison for them. I don’t particularly want him to die in prison…I just know the sort of crimes he’s guilty of, and I’ve seen actuary tables before.
If he who shall not be named got sentenced for all of his crimes, that would mean that he would have to live to be far over 120 years old to get out. I want to see him punished for all of his crimes. If that means that he dies in prison, so be it. I would settle for him losing all of his money, all of his properties, and living in poverty the rest of his life.
And his evil spawn and cronies as well.
The trouble with things connected with Trump is that it’s not Occam’s razor, it’s Occam’s hatchet.
The orange moron IS going to die and most likely sooner rather than later. Someone with his diet and lack of physical activity is not long for this world. I’m surprised he made it as far as he did but I guess you get a few extra years when you have $$ and access to doctors.
