Donald Trump is chasing his waning power like a mirage. He thinks he sees it in the distance and approaches it and then it vanishes again. This week’s fantasy image, apparently, is special prosecutor John Durham’s report on the “oranges” of the Trump-Russia FBI investigation. Hoe kay.

Or, here’s a theory: Mike Lindell is going to be tied up for a while, giving Alan Dershowitz all of his money to save him from Dominion. Maybe Lindell or Dershowitz suggested that resurrecting the seemingly-dormant Durham report would be a good move. Ya spose? You know Trump didn’t think of it on his own.
As a Vietnam war vet I always thought Nixon, Haldeman, Ehrlichman, etc, were the worst bunch of fascists that would ever seize the power of the presidency. Boy, was I wrong. trump, bannon, hawley cruz, with trump in a special category of malignant narcissism and egomaniacal insanity put that first group to shame. Thank God orangeface didn’t get a second term, otherwise betsy devos would make mein kampf required reading.

The release of the Durham Report will be timed to coincide with Dimwit Donny’s Infrastructure Week, to capitalize on all the good press.
