For somebody who loves to believe that his every twitch or random thought should be lovingly recorded for posterity, Donald Trump’s Sunday night appearance back in the Big Apple must have been a resounding disappointment. Nobody knew he was there but the press and one, sole supporter that he waved at. The presumption is that he was in town with regards to litigation proceedings against him in New York City and state. New York Post:
Former President Donald Trump was spotted outside Trump Tower Sunday night in his first visit back to the Big Apple since leaving office.
Trump pulled up to the Midtown skyscraper where he stays while in Manhattan just before 9 p.m.
He was seated in a backseat of a black SUV. Upon his arrival, he waved to a lone Trump supporter who was across the street next to the media.
The NYPD last month began removing some of the barriers in front of Trump Tower, which were erected four years ago when Trump entered the White House.
This is as sparse a news story as you’re going to see. It’s a bit ironic, considering that the implications of the litigation pending against Trump are considerable.
For me, the surprise was the one supporter showing up. Without GOP financial and transportation support, the average number of those outside his rallies tend to be a few more than one or zero.
I hope it plays out as you have predicted, whatever the outcome of the trial. It will take committed journalists to keep the issue alive, as public memory is all too short.

I feel a bit of schadenfreude at the yuge size of his crowd. ; )
Pretty pathetic the man gives up his life to give you back your goverment. And for it he is treated like this. Maybe when you give up yours and your families life for a life of constant harassment we will treat you the same. Oh ya you would never do that for your country. He should of sat back and watched america sink under hillary like we are under bidden. So next time you want to bash him look in the mirror what have you done to save our country. Nothing so shut up already
Your brain must be spanking clean, it’s clear it’s been well washed. I do so wish that he had “sat back” and watched it all go to hell.
He is going to have a PAC just to buy him some kind of crowd. I hope there are a significant number of protesters out in front of his tower this morning.
