Ron Filipkowski has made a prediction about what Donald Trump will say come November and it sounds about right. It certainly sounds like the narcissist we’ve all come to expect and like the guy who repeats himself incessantly.
He has settled on his excuse for Republican losses in the midterms -it’s not his fault because if he was on the ballot they would have won. We will hear this 1,000 times. https://t.co/AkPNLcuyDD

Trump apparently thinks poll numbers are like golf scores, the lower the better. Wrong. His poll numbers are a disaster, to use one of his favorite words.
A wave of bad economic news just dropped:
U.S. GDP grew just 2% in Q1 2026, below the 2.2% estimate (and well below the 5% estimate from Howard Lutnick)
Meanwhile, inflation rose 0.7% in March. Prices are up 3.5% from a year ago, the highest in nearly three years.

Trump reality vs. actual reality. The fact is that he could get on the ballot. Just resign and run for a congressional seat. Let’s see how that works.
