It’s a close call this morning wondering who is more mentally ill, the assassin of Rob Reiner and his wife Michelle, or the sitting president of the United States who says that TDS, Trump Derangement Syndrome, murdered the award winning actor and director. This is one of Trump’s lower moments and that is saying a mouthful.

It’s all about Trump. A man and his wife died of stab wounds, possibly inflicted by their own son, and that is the story. Yet Donald Trump can’t see anything beyond him, his existence, his importance, what he means to the world. And expect Karoline Leavitt to echo chamber this somehow, because this is the deranged world in which we live.
Contrast Trump’s comments with President Obama’s, “Together, he and his wife lived lives defined by purpose,” former President Barack Obama said on social media. “They will be remembered for the values they championed and the countless people they inspired.” Obama’s comments were about the couple and their lives — not about Obama.
America is a country in disgrace right now. We have a complete boor at the helm. Even Thomas Massie chimed in that Trump’s comments were, “Disrespectful and inappropriate.” That defines Trump to a tee. Right there, those three words. Trump does not know where the lines are drawn and he has never been a president for all the people because he’s never even tried.
