Social Media History Now Required To Enter U.S. If Trump Is Successful

Yes, that is a headline that you need to read two or three times to see if you understood it. Evidently Donald Trump has decided that only people of certain opinions should be allowed to enter the United States as tourists and I think we can assume that the opinions that he seeks are ones favorable to him and his regime. If you think otherwise, then you don’t have a right to see the Grand Canyon or Disneyland, from what we can gather.

And that’s probably true as well that an exception will be made for FIFA, since they deigned to bring the Marmelade Monarch the fake peace price that he so covets.

The World Cup and Olympics are going to be problematic. Plus, the user is right,who’s going to check out these “five years” worth of social media? And isn’t most of that likely to be deadly dull? Like Mom’s birthday or the kid’s bar mitzvah? Things which are important to the people posting them but of zero interest to anybody outside that immediate circle.

It’s pretty clear that Trump is looking to screen out foreigners who have been vocal against him, and all he thinks about is him. I would never be able to get into the country because all my social media is anti-Trump. I don’t have “standard” social media, meaning talking about the pot roast I made last month because I just don’t go in for that kind of a thing. But I do go in for politics.

It’s sobering to be an American and realize that if you lived elsewhere and you wanted to come here for the Olympics, say, that you probably wouldn’t be allowed because of your anti-MAGA views. So much for the First Amendment. I guess we can color it gone, on a practical level, if Trump succeeds with this plan of his.
