The romance, bromance, hero worship, whatever it was between Marjorie Taylor Greene and Donald Trump has hit the skids. Color it gone. The two were as thick as thieves at one point, sunlight didn’t come between them, but nowadays Trump is calling Greene a “traitor” and more recently “a very dumb person.” These slings and arrows are bouncing off of Marge, however, because she’s taking the Xian high road. Never forget, in this Orwellian world in which we live, alliances and relationships can change 180 degrees at the drop of a hat and be something new.

Greene calling Trump a liar? If you had asked me what were the odds last year this time I would have laughed. I never thought we’d be here to see this day. But it is Xmas time and maybe Marge had a dream where ghosts came to speak to her about her ways.
I marvel at this conversion. It’s like Invasion Of The Body snatchers, you think you’re dealing with one person and lo, you find out suddenly that you’re dealing with the same-looking person, but a different creature altogether.
It will be interesting to see where this ends up going. Greene is taking the stance that Trump is not as MAGA as he should be (which infers that she is instead) and so maybe Greene can out-Trump Trump. Watching it happen will be amusing in all events.
Or, maybe Marge is finished in politics. She may be one of many MAGA casualties. It’s impossible to predict what Trump will do at any given moment in time because he’s becoming more and more unstable.
