Lady Karma decided to mete out an unusual punishment on Donald Trump, one that only she could devise. You remember Trump’s infamous handshake, where he didn’t just shake a man or woman’s hand? No, he grabbed the hand and pulled the person towards him, and sometimes it would turn into a Pushmi Pullyou kind of a maneuver. Other times the person would visibly try to pull away and then the trajectory of the handshake would go upward or outwards, as Trump clung, showing the person “who was the boss.” Probably the most pathetic example of this “power shake” was when Trump grabbed Brigitte Macron’s hand and dragged her forward about three feet — likely because the woman weighed about 95 pounds at the time. It’s a fortunate thing that Trump didn’t knock the woman off her feet. Now we read about Trump accepting his fake FIFA peace prize and he couldn’t shake hands at all. Or not too much. The president had traveled a few blocks from the White House to the Kennedy Center in Washington on Dec. 5, where FIFA President Gianni Infantino presented him with the inaugural FIFA Peace Prize.
Trump stepped onstage to accept a newly minted FIFA peace medal, but the shiny hardware wasn’t what hijacked viewers’ attention.
As the commander in chief reached out for a handshake on the Kennedy Center stage, cameras caught what many online immediately fixated on something more distracting: Trump’s noticeably swollen hand.
The moment the images hit social media, many online users were anticipating the president’s signature power grip. Trump avoided the handshake that has defined so many of his appearances with world leaders. For years, he has greeted people with a forceful pull-and-squeeze maneuver meant to assert control. But this time, the aggressive move was nowhere to be found.
“Not to mention Trump is being dominated in that handshake. His entire hand is being gripped like a parent pulling a toddler,” wrote one person on Threads. In contrast, another claimed, “This why he couldn’t give his aggressive handshake. His hand was too swollen!”

You recall how when Trump met with Zohran Mamdani in the Oval Office that he gently held Mamdani’s hand, and even covered their handshake with his left hand.
As I said, Lady Karma outdid herself this time and found an original way to get back at Trump for his bullying. And guess what? She’s not done. In fact, she’s just getting started.

Maybe this is why he wanted to redo the Lincoln Bathroom? Maybe he can’t pee properly with that deformed hand and so he wants to pee all over marble than regular tile. Don’t ask me. Figuring out what Trump *thinks* has always eluded me.
