Remember Rod Serling’s Night Gallery? And you surely remember when Donald Trump put up a mocking portrait of Joe Biden’s autopen in the Hall Of Presidents. Above you see Gavin Newsom’s world class trolling which combines the two. Too bad Night Gallery isn’t still on the air. I would love to see what Serling did with a United States president who couldn’t stay awake. Maybe we could even get a sequel to Dreamscape out of this Trump meme, if we get lucky.

While Trump sleeps, his son-in-law and his real estate crony are over in Moscow trying to do business deals under the guise of international diplomacy — while the titular Secretary of State stays home and renames buildings after Trump, in order to please him.

As one wag on social media said: “It’s not that I mind him falling asleep at all, it’s the fact that he keeps waking up.”

Yes, it’s not the sleeping that’s the real problem.
The real damage is done when he’s awake.
The art of the political troll has definitely been perfected in the social media age. It’s interesting (and sometimes exhausting) to watch how much of modern politics revolves around these calculated online provocations rather than policy debate.
