The bothsider people simply hate it when somebody demands that both sides do, in fact, start behaving the same way. Joe Biden was the soul of transparency. He never hid any of his problems, medical or otherwise, from anybody. Donald Trump, on the other hand, brays about his “PERFECT PHYSICAL” and that stupid “COGNITIVE TEST THAT I ACED!!!” when all the cognitive test did, in fact, was to prove that he wasn’t a vegetable. Now Tim Walz is asking Trump to be transparent and that has some amusement value.

The elephant in the room that nobody talks about is Trump’s physical condition. The lies continue about that non stop, despite the obvious fact that Trump doesn’t have as many engagements as he did this time during his first presidency and he also doesn’t show up before noon. (Although in point of fact, 11:30 a.m. was his starting time on most days during Trump 1.0.)
Ironically, Trump now keeps the same kind of hours that Hugh Hefner kept, although for different reasons. Hefner made no bones about the fact that he was partying until the wee hours every night at his Playboy mansion and that’s why he didn’t appear until early afternoon the next day.
Trump, on the other hand, would have you believe that he is tirelessly working for the American people day in and day out and never sleeping — except when he falls asleep in his chair in the Oval Office. He doesn’t account for why that happens because he pretends that it’s not happening, when in fact it’s happening in front of the press corps on any given day.

Trump is a wreck, mentally and physically. He would not have gone into meldown mode, calling the New York Times reporter who reported on his reduced duties “ugly inside and out” if he was remotely thinking straight. All he did was create sympathy for the reporter and the outlet and make himself look the boor, yet once again.
I think Tim Walz is right to bait Trump. Trump will likely rise to the bait and provide medical records, just so he can prove what a *perfect* physical specimen that he is. At least that is devoutly to be wished.
