The crackpot you’re about to hear is a white nationalist *pastor* (emphasis due to the fact that Christianity is a religion of inclusion and love, not exclusion and eradication) who wants to turn the United States into a theocratic state. His views are scary. He thinks women shouldn’t vote, and the #MeToo movement should cease to exist. He also believes that Jews shouldn’t vote either, or hold public office. A real sweetheart of a guy. Today he is going to explain to us why Black people should be elated about slavery because “the greatest day in the history of any black or brown country is when the white man’s ships arrive.” Hail Bwana.

I actually wish that this guy was getting more press, and I’ll tell you why. I well remember the shell shock in November, 2016, when Trump won for the first time. So many of us, jaws agape, were wondering, “How did this happen?” What I found out subsequently was that places like Right Wing Watch had been monitoring this kind of activity for years and if we had been paying attention, we would have seen the danger of Trump coming.
That’s why it is important to pay heed to these lunatics and to oppose them at a grass roots level. Do not lose sight of the fact that Franklin Graham and Pat Robertson and many others of this mindset have advocated that school boards be taken over by evangelical Christians, as the first step towards establishing a theocracy. The Dominionist theory of a theocratic United States starts with the Seven Mountains theory, which is taking over: family, religion, education, media, arts and entertainment, business, and government.
And of course revisionist history is a real asset, too. And that’s what this pastor wants, is for people to forget about the existence of systemic racism or the brutality of slavery and present the arrival of the white man’s ships as the best deal that ever happened to the Black man. Talk about sanewashiing a concept.
Take heed now. I’d rather we deal with this clown at this juncture than see him become the Secretary of Education in some future Republican presidency. I’m not joking. This is as serious as a heart attack.
Well I’m of European descent, and I no longer feel “blessed” to be living in this country. Don’t know why people who have to live with the ingrained racism every day should.

Kirk has started Turning Point group in universities (although he gets owned when he meets proper debating, see Cambridge/Oxford), Bannon is advising far right groups in Europe. scary times because we have a war in Europe. the media is complicit in this because they never fact check and continue to have far right politicians on in favour of left wing parties with more representation in our Parliament
Having been a white man in a black family for twenty years, I find it the height of arrogance for ANY white person to think we understand black history, or what they are going through with a racist government that embraces white supremacy, and Adolf Hitler. Then add to it by becoming a living blasphemy, by saying you represent Jesus. Last I heard, pride cometh before a fall. If you read that book you’re always waving around, it’s in there.
