Trump Is A Lousy Dictator. Because American Fascism Is So Weak

There’s a good reason why Traitor Tot’s best efforts to set up his First Reich are having so much trouble getting off the ground. In most other countries in the world that have suffered under fascist style regimes in times of political turmoil, most of them share something in common.Almost all of them, in their past, had some previous form of tyranny, whether an Imperial Dynasty, a Monarchy, or other form of autocratic rule in the past that accustomed the population to being oppressed. It just needed the right strong man in the right place at the right time, under the right conditions.

In the past 249 years, the United States alone has never known tyranny and oppression as a country. And that’s because the entire country was founded solely on the guiding principle of fighting oppression, tyranny, and fascism to the death. It’s in the oath that every public servant takes, to protect the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic. In Chicago English, Don’t bring that lame shit around here, boyo!

In almost all the countries in modern history with a history or autocracy or fascism, almost all of the governments ruled in the minority. They just happen to be the minority with the guns, and the brutality to use them. Think as modern era fascist regimes as the La Cosa Nostra of politics, third rate thugs and sociopaths who get off on dispensing pain and fear. And the media prints and broadcasts exactly what it’s told to, in fear of reprisals.

In Hitler’s Germany, Stalin’s Russia, Mao’s China, Mussolini’s Italy and Franco’s Spain, none of their jackbooted thugs skulked around with their faces covered with masks. They wanted to be seen and recognized, in order to engender instant fear and compliance. Even in current weak or struggling democracies, in places like Mexico, El Salvador, Honduras, and Haiti, the thugs and drug gangs stroll around bare faced with impunity, while it’s the honest cops and soldiers that wear masks to try and protect themselves and their families from retribution.

But with everything going on in this country at the moment, none of that is happening! In fact, it’s the exact opposite, and always has been. Let’s just look at some of the differences between the real thing, and El Pendejo Presidente’s piss poor imitation of fascism;

• In Traitor Tot’s pseudo fascism, it’s the ICE agents on raids that are wearing masks and hoods. In fact, in some cases, they’re removing any badges and possible forms of identification from their uniforms before setting out. Why? They’re duly sworn officers upholding the law, right? Are they afraid that Julio the gradener is going to get away and come after them with a pair of hedge shears? More to say about this a little further down
• In fascist Europe in WWII, civilians made themselves scarce whenever some form of overt government oppression of abuse was about to occur. Here today, you have civilians stepping up, whipping out their cell phones, and filming the entire incident, risking the destruction of their own personal property, and possible detention for themselves
• A couple of universities who have tangled with the Trump administration have caved and settled with the Trump regime rather than fight it out in court. This is self destructive. After all, does the bully only steal your lunch money once? Most universities are choosing to duke it out in court
• There are Freedom Vans out there every damn day, loaded with camera crews, activists, and even lawyers, following the ICE teams around and mucking up their raids
• A couple of chickensh*t media conglomerates with possible pending business and mergers pending before the Trump administration have cow towed to the Trump threats, making themselves look weak and feckless, but the majority of the media is balls-to-the-wall with fair coverage
• A handful of major, white shoe law firms have curtailed or stopped their pro bono works on behalf of indigent clients in order to not run afoul of the administration. This is the road to perdition. Pretty soon they’ll have the DOJ telling them which clients they can handle, and how to argue the cases in court
• Fortunately, at the same time, there are small legal firms out there popping up all over, including some made up of former DOJ lawyers fired by Trumpleforeskin to take up the slack amd hold the Trump administration and its subservient DOJ under the legal spotlights

Earlier above, in noting the ICE teams covering their faces and hiding their identifiers and unit insignias before conducting the raids, I promised more below. And here it is.

Cast your minds back to the halcyon days of the Ku Klux Klan, when they laid a bloody reign of terror across the south. Whether it was a mass rally, march, cross burning, or lynching, these mental midgets all wore hoods as pointy as their heads. Why? It couldn’t have been to protect their identities from the victims, hell, they weren’t going to live to tell the tale anyway.

No. These craven sadistic cowards wore those hoods not to protect themselves from victim retaliation. Whey wore them because they knew they were in the minority, and that they were wrong. They didn’t hide their faces from the victims, they hid them from their friends, neighbors, and family.

And it’s still happening today, and not just those chickensh*t ICE agents. You still occasionally see Klan and neo-Nazi rallies in downtown areas, and every last one of those man jackin’ *ssholes has a hood or mask on. One of the few bright spots of Charlottesville was in the aftermath. The bucket heads marched through the campus holding tiki torches and chanting Jews will not replace us! But when the pictures started being published, and the participants started being recognized, a whole sh*tload of them suddenly found out that they didn’t have jobs anymore. That’s. Why. They.Wear.The.Damn. Masks!

You don’t have to take up arms against the government and hold a revolution in order to defeat fascism. All you have to do is to stand up to it, and make it too goddamn embarrassing and politically untenable for it to continue. We’ve been doing this for 249 years now, and we’ll survive this third rate crackpot too.

But if we don’t want to keep having to do this sh*t every time some moronic imbecile with a Napoleon complex gets elected, then we had better damn well pay attention to The Who;
