Yet another testament to the fact that there’s a tweet or a video for everything. Jeffrey Epstein was deposed back in the day. During that deposition he was asked if he had a “personal relationship” with Donald Trump. Epstein asked for that phrase to be defined. That’s odd on its face, don’t you think? A personal relationship is a relationship that is not a business one. I think even a child knows the difference between having a kind of a relationship with a teacher or a cop and a different kind with a playmate next door.
In any event, personal relationship got defined for Epstein and here’s what he had to say. He curiously invokes not only the 5th Amendment, not wanting to answer because the answer may tend to incriminate him, but also the 6th and the 14th Amendments. The 6th Amendment guarantees a speedy trial. Why that has any relevancy here, I’m not clear. The 14th Amendment is more of a citizenship amendment than anything else and guarantees equal protection under the laws. Again, don’t ask me, ask the late pedophile’s lawyers. I would love to hear why they advised him to say that.
Here is the right-wing Daily Wire reporting on the contents of this deposition back in 2016: https://t.co/VlgcYV6fP1

The reason I include the right-wing Daily Wire piece is because it’s plain that back in 2016 the right-wing media was not always Trump’s darling. Then they decided to make hay while the sun shone and they will continue to make hay when it becomes evident who the new MAGA mogul is — and I wouldn’t count on that being J.D. Vance.
In any event, as Donald Trump himself said, “You don’t take the Fifth unless you’re guilty.” We agree, Donald. In fact, we couldn’t agree more. And so Epstein simply did not want to even venture into that area of conversation, he backed away. And it’s pretty obvious why he backed away from all the testimoney we have heard about him and Trump from their victims.
Interesting that the sitting president of these United States was besties with one of the most deranged sociopaths and exploiters of children probably in the history of this country, if not the world.

I can understand pleading the 5th. Not so much in reference to Donald, but to the part about socializing with females under the age of 18.
America…we elect pedophile traitors twice into the highest office in the land. We are a lost nation. Fact.
I literally was curious about the 14th Amendment invocation so I did a quick search and this came up as the “AI Overview” (which seems to be the new default “first response” for Google Search results):
“A person might invoke the 14th Amendment in court to argue that a state law or action violates their constitutional rights, particularly concerning due process, equal protection, or privileges and immunities. The 14th Amendment ensures that states cannot infringe upon these rights, and it has been instrumental in expanding civil rights protections.”
Additionally:
How the 14th Amendment is used in court:
Incorporation:
The Supreme Court has interpreted the 14th Amendment to apply most of the Bill of Rights (which originally only applied to the federal government) to the states. This means that the protections of the Bill of Rights, such as freedom of speech, religion, and the right to a fair trial, are also protected against state and local governments.
Challenging discriminatory laws:
Individuals can challenge state laws or actions that they believe violate the Equal Protection Clause. For example, cases challenging racial segregation or gender discrimination have often invoked this clause.
Ensuring fair procedures:
The Due Process Clause is used to challenge state actions that are perceived as unfair or arbitrary, such as when someone is denied a fair hearing or due notice before being deprived of a right.
Protecting fundamental rights:
The 14th Amendment has been interpreted to protect fundamental rights not explicitly mentioned in the Constitution, such as the right to marry, use contraception, and have an abortion.
Of course, the irony is just dripping like the blood from Jason Voorhees’ machete given Drumpf’s attempts to upend the 14th Amendment’s “birthright citizenship” aspect. (Still hoping that someone decides to sue the Feds over Marco Rubio’s legal status since he is literally a beneficiary of the 14th Amendment as neither of his parents were US citizens when he was born and we’ve already seen how Drumpf has tried to add stipulations to the Amendment–which is blatantly unconstitutional since an amendment’s text can only legally be altered by a subsequent amendment.)
