A narrow plurality put the juggernaut that is Trump world back in business and now everybody has to suffer. That’s the plain and tragic reality of all this. As Obama used to intone, “There is no liberal America, there is no conservative America, there is only the United States of America.” At the end of the day, yes. That’s the situation. We have a collective national debt, a collective national image and most definitely we have a collective economy. Donald Trump is in the process of smashing all that to smithereens.
Jake Tapper spoke with an e-commerce clothing manufacturer who has a message for his *president* whom he voted for, for three times. That message is: “If you tell us the plan, we can operate and we can know what to do.” Here’s the answer, although this guy won’t believe it: THERE IS NO PLAN!! Trump is flying blind, making it up as he goes.
This is the singular stupidity of MAGAs of all stripes: they insist that Trump has a plan, a great plan. Why he had a plan to end the Ukraine war on day one of his second term, remember that? What happened to that plan? There was no more of a plan for Ukraine than there is for tariffs. This is Mad King Donald playing with peoples’ lives.
There is no plan. Mike Pence was on TV trying to softsoap it all, but facts are facts: and those facts are 1. Goods will cost more money and 2. and supply chains are going to be interrupted.

I think they’ll demand a different approach, and I think that approach is free trade with free nations.”
Absolutely the American people are going to see the consequences. That is a fact. You thought Trump’s first 100 days in office were something, wait until you see his next 100 days.
