What made Milwaukee famous is about to make a loser out of Elon Musk. A local brewery, Minocqua Brewing Company, has issued a call to arms via its Facebook page for either law enforcement to pick up Musk when he lands in Wisconsin later on today, or for citizens to do a citizens arrest — which is legal, in the case of a person committing a felony. The poster of this piece believes that Musk’s lottery-type million dollar checks are a felony. That has yet to be decided by a court but is probably right.
Wow. If this really happens, that would be something. But the fact that there is even a call for this to happen, that Musk is seen as the interloper that he is and people want him behind bars is certainly a cautionary tale in and of itself.
And in terms of concrete fact, NBC News is reporting that a recent poll showed that Wisconsin voters have an unfavorable view of Musk, 53% to 47%, and feel that “he is disrupting programs required by law.”
Additionally, Musk said that his first million dollar giveaway was for voting and then deleted that post and claimed that the money was payment for “being his spokesperson for his petition.” That’s what got the attorney general to bringing suit against him, because offering payment or anything of value for voting is illegal.
Musk has stepped in it up to his ankles. But again, it all rests with the electorate. Let’s see if Knee Pad Brad Schimel can pull out a win or if Susan Crawford will be victorious in the race for the State Supreme Court seat. We will know a lot more by Wednesday — unless there’s some dragged out vote counting. This coming week is a crucial one in Trump world.

Musk should be arrested, if not for election bribes, then for this story in ProPublica that says Space_X is being funded by Chinese investors through some Cayman accounts. The billionaire who is ripping the heart out US government and putting veterans out of work seems to be on Xi’s payroll. If that doesn’t make people angry, I don’t know what will.
