If you ever watch clips of old vaudeville shows, they had something called “the hook.” The hook was a large fish hook shaped thing, that could fit around a person’s waist. It was used to literally grab somebody and pull them off into the wings. The phrase “get the hook” was called out in burlesque shows or political rallies, talent contests, anywhere where a person was on stage who clearly did not belong there and who needed to be escorted off and stat.
That is where we are with Elon Musk. He has way too high a profile in this government considering that he’s not an elected nor even an appointed and confirmed official. He simply is a Ketamine-fueled narcissistic personality running riot because he’s got the money to buy influence. This is not democracy, this is oligarchy. And what’s worse, Musk simply does not get that the time to stop is now. He’s way beyond any level of normality but he can’t see it. Here he is attacking an American hero.
Musk is clearly off the walls. I don’t know what is going on with X today but I can tell you that I can’t embed tweets or videos, which either means I have to screenshoot them or I have to find them elsewhere. This will be the death of X to me, because I’m only over there to use it as a tool in doing this work. If it can’t assist in that, then I have no use for it. Maybe that’s how X finally sinks beneath the waves into obscurity. It would serve Musk right.

That post from Bluesky embedded just fine and this may be the turning point. Bluesky has risen and X is tanking and at some point, Bluesky may come out on top.
But back to Musk, it probably will devolve to Marco Rubio to see that Musk stays in line and if we are to believe what we hear, that effort has been futile on Rubio’s part so far. Vance has no real power. He’s there to back Trump’s play and be the Voice of MAGA on the TV set.
Plus, it is Rubio’s job as Secretary of State which is being sabotaged by Musk. Musk can’t keep his mouth shut and he evidently believes that he’s like Trump, meaning that he can say anything and get away with it. He’s not Trump. He doesn’t have a cult. He doesn’t have the ability to put together a cult. Musk only exists because of the power that Trump confers on him and I daresay that they’ve had that conversation on more than one occasion, probably at ear-splitting decibel levels.
Rubio has to put a muzzle on Musk, and that’s obvious. The only question that now remains is how and when will he do it. It’s way past the if stage, it’s something that has to be done. Or Rubio will have zero credibility as Secretary of State and Musk will be the de facto secretary. This is Rubio’s do or die time.

Musk it must be noted has dual citizenship. He became a naturalized American (although since he illegally claimed he was a student when he applied for residency HE could have his status revoked!) and eventually became a U.S. Citizen but he retained his South African citizesnship as well. He’s been hedging his fucking bets all along! Same with Peter Theil now that I think about it. So Elon, why haven’t you revoked your OTHER citizenship? I know a fucking traitor when I see one and it sure as hell isn’t Mark Kelly, who unlike you has SERVED this country including in combat. YOU are the traitor Elon!
