This has never happened in the history of our country, an American *president* being lionized by Russian media, all the while alienating our traditional allies. So you would think that it would be something we would see commented on in American media, yes? No. Unless you read political blogs or catch this kind of thing on social media, you will not see it at all. If CNN or NBC or anybody is covering this, please let me know. That would be a first.
Why that is, nobody seems to know. Occam’s Razor says that the billionaire oligarchs who own the Los Angeles Times, Washington Post, Disney/ABC, and all the rest of them, don’t want to upset ownership. And if ownership is upset by a free press reporting the truth, then guess what? We no longer have a free press. In any event, here’s yet another big story which slides under the radar every day.

The last time a group of senators was so intimidated was in Rome because they were afraid that a guy named Caligula was going to replace one of them with his horse. He threatened to do so and Caligula was nuts enough to do what he threatened.
And undoubtedly Russia loves the fact that their useful idiot spends so much time golfing. And did you hear Trump Junior’s reposte to a story that reported he might run in 2028? Doubtlessly Russia would love it if Junior succeeded Daddy.
The good news is that Junior denied the report, going as far as to cuss out Mediaite and remind everyone what a soulless dickhead creep he is.
“I accurately predicted that my buddy JD would be an instant power player in national GOP politics, so your theory is that I worked my ass off to help get him the VP nomination because I want to run for president in 2028?” Junior said in a trashy and poorly written statement. “Are you fucking retarded? I’m actually glad you’re printing this bullshit though because at least now the rest of the press corps will see how shitty your ‘sources’ are and how easily you’re played by them. Congrats, moron.”
A real charmer, ain’t he, folks? His mom was buried on a goddamn golf course and she’s still probably happy as hell to be far away from that chode.
Maybe it’s good news that the Trump family is at least pretending there will be more elections in this country. And maybe it’s good news that our opposition would be an apparently coked up weirdo who clearly inherited his pop’s intellect. But to be honest we’re pretty terrified of the kinds of choices Americans are making these days so that’s of little comfort. That’s even more true when you start to ponder what will be left of America during the next election.
But what makes this all so fucking terrifying is that we just can’t rule anything out anymore. If his dumbshit dad can get elected with Russian help, beat two impeachments and 34 felony convictions, attack the fucking Capitol and injure more than 140 cops, scream like an idiot about people eating cats and dogs AND STILL GET FUCKING ELECTED then who the hell knows how idiotic things can get?
This is unfortunately true. I did not think Trump could be reelected after January 6. I was wrong. I don’t want to think what else the American electorate could be capable of, especially with right-wing media being a billion dollar industry and going strong. What a fool believes, he sees, and we have a lot of fools in this country watching Fox News and making voting decisions based on the falsehoods.
Messaging. We have to change our messaging as Democrats and I believe that the first step is for mainstream media to acknowledge that Russian media loves Trump. And Trump loves Russian media. He had TASS present in the Oval Office for the Zelensky beatdown, whereas the Associated Press and Reuters were banned. That tells you everything you need to know.
The billionaire owned former mainstream media should cover this.
