It would fit right in with their end times consciousness. What is known is that military drills took place between Israeli and U.S. forces recently.
The Israeli Defence Forces said the drills were aimed at practising “operational coordination” between the two militaries. But, many feel the drill could be aimed at readying the Israeli military for a potential joint strike with the US on Iran.
The drills saw dozens of fighter jets, strategic B-52 bombers and refuelling aircraft simulating coordinated strikes on shared targets, according to Israeli media reports.
The joint military exercise over the Mediterranean Sea is the first collaboration on this scale in two years. “The exercise aimed to strengthen and maintain the longstanding cooperation between the forces while expanding connectivity and building integrated capabilities for a range of scenarios,” the IDF said.
However, speculations are rife that the drill is potentially aimed at readying the Israeli military for a potential joint strike with the US on Iran. The rumours are strengthened by reports that Israel is urging the US to take joint action against Iran’s nuclear programme since the diplomatic efforts are faltering. Israeli Defense Minister Israel Katz emphasized collaboration with Washington to prevent Tehran from obtaining nuclear weapons.
Iran too is anticipating the attack with its fortifying defenses at its nuclear locations, including the secret one. Not only has Iran placed additional security on its nuclear sites, including air defence system launchers, but it is also on the verge of producing enough weapons-grade uranium to build several bombs.
Iran too had recently carried out drills, which came to the attention of Israelis who said the Army was conducting ongoing constant assessments to ensure readiness for a wide range of scenarios, including defensive and offensive.
It’s no wonder that Marco Rubio was quarreling with Elon Musk the other day. He sees the high stakes and he also sees that Musk and his cronies have no idea what they’re tinkering with and that Trump is playing golf and not running the government. Trump could conceivably get the entire world glowing orange like he does if this situation escalates. I don’t know if there is such a thing as a *limited* nuclear strike. In fact, the entire Cold War peace era has been predicated upon the idea that there isn’t.

NO Scott, not so fast , and Ursula, while I despise Trump as much as any of you, perhaps more (being a VERY proud Canuck) I nonetheless vehemently disagree with your premise that hitting Iran is a very bad idea. Yes, hitting them with nukes would be utterly beyond stupid – moronic, imbecillic, and much worse. But fortunately the Israelis are way more level-headed than Trump and his entire cabinet (except of course for Rubio who is the only non-psychotic person around him AND who has NOT drunk the Trump kool-aid (except when Trump tells him to say stupid shit about Ukraine that Rubio KNOWS is idiotic)) and they know EXACTLY how and where to strike Iran such as to do maximal harm to their nuke program and minimal harm to Iranian civilians who are genuinely smart and exceptionally good people.
Montreal is full of Iranians with whom I interact all the time and almost every single one of them WANTS Israel and the USA to work together to get rid of the nukes AND try to topple their homicidal-psycho-“government”. Further, I insist that NOT striking them carries FAR more danger than actually striking them. Israel has had nukes for 5 decades and no matter the existential stresses has NEVER used them. Iran?
