The tragi/comedy in the White House is a show for all the world. Vladimir Putin is pulling no punches, nor is Russian TV. They don’t need to be coy. The American electorate has proven itself to be feckless and stupid beyond anything they could have ever wished, nay, beyond what they could have even dreamed of. RT makes it clear that Tulsi Gabbard is a “friend” of Russia and Putin. They doubtlessly are also delighted with the exotic dancing of the Secretary of Transportation and the blackout drinking of the Secretary of Defense. But for this morning, here’s the focus.

It’s a sad day when the propaganda spewing Russian state television network has a clearer grasp of issues than an American *president* but that day has dawned. As Julia Davis (who is a Russian-speaking columnist for the Daily Beast) said, “I’ve lived long enough to see RT fact check Alina Habba.” When the world class propagandists are appalled at the stupidity of a piece of propaganda, you know it’s bad. The cartoon was intended as satire when drawn, I’m sure, but Trump is beyond satire. To do satire you have to extend an absurd idea out to an even more absurd level. Every *idea* of Trump’s is already at peak idiocy so it’s beyond parody, basically.
