Another unprecedented day in America. Over at the Senate chambers votes are proceeding apace for the worst FBI director in the history of that institution to be confirmed and a Trump toady has already been confirmed as Attorney General. So some FBI agents are seeing the handwriting on the wall, that they’re about to be the object of a Trumpian enemies list, and so they made the first move and sued both the FBI and the DOJ. What a world we live in for this to even be taking place. The Hill:
The FBI and the Department of Justice (DOJ) are being sued by nine current agents who say their review of those who worked on the cases of some 1,500 Jan. 6 defendants is a preparation to retaliate against agents.
The suit comes after a noon deadline for the FBI to turn over to the Department of Justice the responses to a 13-question survey about agents’ work on the cases brought against those who stormed the Capitol on Jan. 6.
“The purpose for this list is to identify agents to be terminated or to suffer other adverse employment action,” the suit says, calling it an “unlawful and retaliatory” action.
“Plaintiffs reasonably fear that all or parts of this list might be published by allies of President Trump, thus placing themselves and their families in immediate danger of retribution by the now pardoned and at-large Jan. 6 convicted felons.”
FBI leadership also has been asked to turn over a list of its agents who worked on cases involving the 1,500 Jan. 6 cases — putting at risk some 2,400 agents who worked on the largest prosecutorial undertaking in DOJ history.
And agents themselves have been asked to define the scope of their work, responding to a survey now included in court documents asking them whether they conducted surveillance, collected evidence, arrested individuals or testified in court.
The class action suit is brought on behalf of nine anonymous agents, and it also asks for an injunction to block any sharing of the survey results.
Government employees fearing retaliation from an incoming leader is something out of Soviet Russia, not America. This is not who we used to be. But it is who we are now because a substantial portion of the electorate is dumbed down into believing the reality TV huckster as opposed to being involved enough with politics to get good information and see him for who and what he really is.
Or maybe that’s not possible. Maybe America is so dumbed down at this point that the idiots outnumber the smart and they’re incapable of learning — except the hard way. But if so, they only outnumber us by 1.5% and we can beat that.
And make no mistake: Trump came out of the gate with terrible approval ratings for a new administration and with the tariffs and stock market madness, that’s going to be the case going forward.

I know someone who works for the UNC school of Public Health that reportedly had to fire 80 people due to this CRIMINAL NAZI. Don’t know the details but they probably were attached to grants. As what they are doing is totally illegal, I don’t see why some person in authority doesn’t send guards to protect these offices. They belong to the people, not to the president. It is a coup, after all.
