There are many types of intelligence in the world. We’ve all met people who are math whizes, able to draw with ease, able to sing, play ball, fix things. Every aspect of human life has people who excel in that particular endeavor. Elon Musk has demonstrated an ability to take over businesses and right now the “business” he has gained control over, for the most part, is the United States government. He intends it remake it in his own image, like he remade Twitter or his other acquisitions. So expect unscheduled disassemblies, his euphemism for things blowing up. Unfortunately, this rocket has 330 million people onboard so this is going to be very messy.
First of all, Donald Trump, who is in fact an elected official, has no idea what the DOGE head is up to. This is catastrophic on its face. It’s a set up for the kind of confrontation that Marco Rubio had earlier with Musk and many more to come.
When Elmo got him elected, they took him in a room and showed him a big stack of those binders, gave him the big pen and told him that almost every day he’d get go in front of the cameras and play president.

Trump has no idea if what Elon is doing is legal or not. Moreover, he couldn’t care less. Now here’s a kerfuffle you’re probably not aware of taking place today but it is important.
You’re the one committing a crime @elonmusk
As you dox so will others pic.twitter.com/BFdtsERTqd— kodiak149 (@kodiak149) February 3, 2025
Um….we’re not supposed to know who works in the government? When did knowledge of who works in the government become a crime? Answer: it’s not. But here’s why Musk thinks it is.
Trump’s DC US Attorney says that “Any threats, confrontations, or other actions in any way that impacts” what Elon Musk’s people are doing will be investigated by his office since that “may break numerous laws.” pic.twitter.com/LgoB9iMsaP

Listing peoples’ names in a tweet is hardly a “threat” or a “confrontation.” It also doesn’t “impede” work. I get it that Elon thinks it’s a great achievement to have this lawyer at his beck and call. But that fact does not make anything that Elon doesn’t like a “crime” which this lawyer can then prosecute.
But it’s all part of the topsy turvy world we now live in, the Upside Down that Trump II is bringing us. Only two guarantees: spectacle, first and foremost, and Trump will continue to shoot himself in the foot. He’s 0 for 3 now. Panama basically chose not to escalate the issue, (after the theatrics with deportees in military planes in chains) and backed down, so Trump did as well. Both Mexico and Canada are giving Trump some theater at the border, in order to forestall the destructive tariffs.
But he gets to spin it all as a win. This is the Child in Chief, who has to win, win, win — and nothing is going on except threats to tank the economy — which were met with a crashing stock market Friday and today.
It’s all political theater.

Friends, I am forced to self-promote and ask you for money. We had a bad year compared with 2023 and the end of the year has been catastrophic. Traffic died on November 5. We are a small blog and completely self-supporting by ad revenue, donations, and subscriptions. If you can afford a monthly subscription that would help us out. If you can make a small donation, likewise. Our only goal is to stay in business and give you the best content we can generate. You are the wind beneath our wings. Thank you. Let me understand this. He gets his guys to illegally hack their way into Treasury databases containing the classified personal data of literally hundreds of million Americans, and then he claims disclosing the names of those hackers is a crime? Are we back to the Twilight Zone again?
When Elon told FearNoneInc, “You have committed a crime,” perhaps he thought that FNI was providing contact info, also, like home addresses and phone numbers not just names. That might be doxing, which is frequently done in a malicious way, but even then it may not be criminal unless it involves some other activities, which I found in an online search. In this case, I see nothing but names, and these are presumably public names of people doing government work, as you pointed out. So I think that Elon’s threat is unsupported, but even unsupported threats can be effective.
Government workers need to be protected, huh?
Tell that to Dr. Fauci or Gen. Milley.
Here’s the sticker I really hate
source, please?
The little gobsghites whose names(and perhaps their home addresses and phone numbers) were revealed are recent high school.and college graduates. Elon had a couple of them.as interns. They are in no way qualified for the jobs he’s. giving them.
Now I don’t want any violence perpetrated on the teenagers, but I would laugh gleefully if their homes ( in some cases their parents’ homes) had protesters outside every last day for many, many months.
