I’m going to begin this column by asking for a favor: do any of you have MAGA friends or relatives? Can you ask them a simple question, namely what the flaming fuck does anybody see in this man? I wouldn’t want to be seated at the same table with this guy, let alone want to work with him, and God forbid he should ever be my boss. So what is it that people SEE? Because I’ve only spoken to a couple of MAGAs and basically they had absorbed his lies about immigrants stealing jobs and so they were happy to jump on board and have a scapegoat. And I spoke to an evangelical wingnut who believed that Trump was sent by God because the Christian Broadcasting Network said so. So is that the answer? Mindless fools just listen to others and vote accordingly? And America now has more mindless fools than thinking people? Is that the case?
Trump has been in office ten days now and it’s been a short honeymoon. So now he’s up and speaking at a presser about how the fatal crash in Washington, D.C. Wednesday is all somebody else’s fault. In this latest clip, he’s targeting the Army Blackhawk helicopter pilot — and claiming he knows more about helicopters than the pilot. He sounds like a raving lunatic. If you had an elder relative who was talking this way, you would seriously contemplate putting them in assisted living.
Again, WHY would anybody vote for this stupid fuck? I have been seeking answers to this. I read where the Amish voted for Trump because they were upset when the Pennsylvania government investigated a raw milk issue. So one of Trump’s campaign honchos went to the Amish and convinced them that Trump would prevent a reoccurrence of same. Then he drove the Amish to polling places in busloads. And maybe Trump will destroy all regulations. And maybe next time people will die. But I guess the Amish might prefer that to having state regulatory boards “meddle” in their business affairs.
And I read another article recently on why young, *beautiful* (meaning well heeled) people like Trump. It’s because MAGA is “MTV for them.” This is all a lark for them. But would it be such high comedy if they had a relative onboard the plane or helicopter that crashed?
And speaking of the crash, NOBODY KNOWS what caused the crash! This is where Trump and Duffy are off base even talking about it. It needs to be investigated and then when actual forensic evidence has been obtained and evaluated, then a conclusion can be made about what caused the tragedy. Then is the time for a cabinet member or president to speak.
But to speak about it now, precipitously, is irresponsible. And to blame people is unconscionable. But that’s all this idiot can do.
So again, if anybody knows why people vote for this clown, what they think he’s going to do that benefits them — or what they thought Kamala was going to do that was so horrific — can somebody explain it to me, please?
Because when I see this guy, and this has been the case since he came down the escalator in 2015, I see an ignorant, phony, bombastic blowhard who is dangerous. That is all I see. And so far I have been right. What do they see that I do not? Why did they put him back in power?

I’ve been racking my brain to come up with a more hopeful explanation for Trump’s victory than this one, but so far I can’t find one. Can any PolitiZoom followers out there help me out?
Yes: Voter Suppression.
That is also the situation, I fear. Trump did say during the campaign, “I have plenty of votes,” and “i don’t need any votes.” I’ve never heard a candidate say that. Not even Obama during his first run, when he was eight points ahead. So voter suppression is the logical way he pulled the extra 1.5% that put him over the top.
Like Ghouliana…I have theories, but no hard evidence, although I have more than he ever had. Our culture lied about taking over the continent and destroying the American Indian cultures. We lied about slavery,(and still are lying). Hell we didn’t even pass a federal law against LYNCHING until 2022. We lied just about every war we’ve waged or every reason we ever invaded. We lied about WW2, as we let Hitler do whatever, didn’t allow Jewish immigrants to run here in the numbers necessary, until we were attacked. We’ve lied about freedoms. We’ve lied about how easy it is to get rich in America. We’ve resisted and lied about giving minorities and women equal rights. We’ve lied about our religious convictions, although we print God on our money, and use the Bible in our oaths. We’ve lied just about everything. We are a nation of hypocrites and liars…so we worship shallowness, lies, greed, etc. So, I ask…is it really a surprise we watch cruelty, stupidity, greed, and EVIL for nine years and say HEY I LIKE THAT BECAUSE WE ARE THE CHAMPIONS OF THE WORLD??? We elected a champion LIAR. After all, we like believing reality TV ,since reality requires more from us…like sacrifice, the golden rule, tolerance, self awareness, education, PHUCKING EFFORT, and a willingness to live with uncomfortable truths. In the movie Lawrence of Arabia, Lawrence was crossing the desert with a Bedouin. He only drank water when his guide did. Clearly he wasn’t a member of any Arab tribe who grew up without easy access to water. This confused the guide. He asked: are you from a desert country? Lawrence replied no he was from whatever town he named in England. The guide repeated is that a desert country? Lawrence said no it was a fat country full of fat people. The guide clearly didn’t understand and asked are you fat? Lawrence said no…I’m different. We are a fat country full of fat people…self denial, service, and sacrifice for the larger good is not in our cultural DNA. So a tv culture believes whatever media they entertain themselves with the hope that they too can be rich and famous. When it doesn’t happen…well dissatisfaction becomes our norm. Then a con man/ tv star born into 400 million dollars sells a perverted dream to a perverted nation. That’s one theory. I have others.
I think you’ve hit it. A conman sells a perverted dream to a perverted nation. That’s probably what a voice over in some movie 100 years from now will say. Nobody wants to see movies about this now — although I’ve heard The Apprentice is great — but at least 50 years, maybe a hundred or more, movies about Trump will be a thing, like the western. Nobody will believe we did this to ourselves.
Or, we will have fulfilled the prophecy of Idiocracy and that will be the most popular movie ever made in a future culture.

I feel like everyone has missed the importance of Sphincter Face’s press conference! He just saved the NTSB and the taxpayer a Yuge amount of time and money! The investigators can put their equipment back in their “go-bags” and head home! Just type up Sphincter’s comments and rubber stamp his conclusions! “The helicopter pilot saw everything clearly. The plane’s lights were blazing. All he had to do was go up or go down or turn or stop! There ya go…case closed!” I mean why create computer models, study the black box info, listen to the CVR, conduct simulations, or interview the controller and witnesses?! Sphincter Face is a one-man show…just ask him; he’s got “common sense” and the NTSB doesn’t!! 🤬🤬
